Ā Picture & video are of the replacement machine black one & I put the broken pink machines pink handle on the black machine pink one makes loud scary bang when turned on.
Had to get creative given Amazon only allows 1 video & I needed to show 2 as the second time it made bigger ice ^-^
Im disabled, Autistic/ADHD & sound sensitive,
im gonna be honest with my review & hopefully this helps others possibly like myself when ordering this machine.
Do note, I now have a working machine they sent a replacement it’s not pink it’s black.
Okies so This was the first machine that I’ve ordered on Amazon to arrive Broken, I didn’t know what to do at first but did figure it out in the end to email them also tried Facebook messenger, but mail is better.
I did what the paper stated after unboxing carefully, (be wary if u has kitty’s there’s styrofoam that sheds) I waited almost 3 hrs to plug it in had the pink machine on the counter in my kitchen, even though paper said 1 hour before plugging in (I got distracted with other stuffs)
I eventually started it followed the paper rules, filled with water to max & waited, it didn’t do anything so I walked away to my other room to heard a loud muffled noise not knowing it was the machine but startled went back out to kitchen to see the machine didn’t make any ice.
So I turned it off, turned it back on & watched it…
Big mistake, a loud bang happened when the machine try’s to kick on the cooling part I assume.
For me this scared me very bad I’m noise sensitive this also triggered my overreactive fight / flight response, I then had to rebrave turning off & on & recording it for the Euhomy company,
I got in contact with them by mail got a nice Human named Stella & was back & forth emailing with them providing pics & videos & serial number & order number, do not forget the order number that’s important!
Eventually they sent out a replacement it’s black, not pink like I ordered.
The new machine arrived I waited a hour turned it on very bravely wearing my ear defenders, as I was terrified by the last one’s bang noise..
This one worked fans kicked on & within some time we had ice & I was able to fill up bowls & put them in front of our fans & some in my kitty’s bowl we have ice now, needed ice for my kitty & I as it’s hot like almost 90 in my place & we can’t get a AC for a bit.
This is a very good company I have there countertop dishwasher that works amazing, it’s not there fault the 1st machine arrived broken I mean it was shipped with UPS…..
The replacement was shipped with FedEx there prob more gentle.
Tip for ND, disabled were ear defenders the first time turning it on just in case .. cause it’s a loud bang if it fails..
Also the fans should kick on when u turn it on so that is also a good warning sign something is wrong if the fans don’t kick on.

You know all those times when you just need a little more ice, but you donāt want to go out and get a bag because you donāt really need that much? This is your answer. It is easy to use. It is remarkably portable and if you empty it out carefully and make sure you donāt have any water in it. You can store it anywhere.
We have put it out on the porch when we were having people over and we have used it on trips to our beach condo. It is something you didnāt think you needed, but I promise you do. It works perfectly. It works quickly and it is not noisy at all except for a few seconds when itās dumping ice into the retaining basket.
It is also perfect for seniors living in granny flats, and folks and small apartments whose refrigerators do not have icemakers.

The ice domes are larger than I had hoped for: 1 1/4 inch long, and about 3/4 inch in diameter. There is a 3/4 inch diameter cavity in the center, which is the diameter of the rod the ice forms around.
I bought this because I wanted soft, snackable ice, and this does not disappoint. The ice does not feel like a danger to my teeth or crowns, and is easy and pleasant to chew. The ice forms quickly, is soft and chewable, and melts rapidly.
The machine rapidly forms 6 nuggets at a time, beginning a few minutes after it is first turned on. I was pleased by the fast operaton. I did not find it noisy: More like the sound your refrigerator makes.
If you make extra and freeze it, the refrozen ice is no longer soft , instead is similar to regular freezer-made ice. The refrozen ice good for beverages, but not for snacking.
The machine operates so fast, that you don’t really need to accumulate ice for later, unless you are just making it for beverage ice.
I am pleased with this purchase. The smaller, less expensive version of this ice maker is sufficient for my needs. I wish the ice nuggets were smaller, but overall I am happy with the ice.

Bought this to replace a Magic Chef ice maker that made the same amount of ice. That one lasted for a little over 2 years so looking forward to seeing how long this one will last. The overall size is a tad bit smaller than our old one. That is both good and bad. This one is a bit shallower where the ice collection basket sits. So far the only down side Iāve found is that when scooping ice from a full basket, it tends to push a cube or two back 8 to the drop chute. This is a small problem, not worth worrying too much about. It makes ice quickly, is relatively quiet and works pretty much like every other version of this variety. It only has 1 size setting for cube size but it makes the larger size cubes. I never used the small size on my other one. I also like the fact that you can get to the freezing apparatus a bit easier for cleaning when needed. Overall itās a nice little ice maker.
TIPS: when using this type of ice maker, fully expect the ice to melt slowly. The ice basket is NOT refrigerated. It sits over an ice bath that will chill after itās been running for an hour or so. When you first turn it on, the ice cubes it makes will be very small as the water chills. Each successive batch that drops, about every 7 minutes or so, will get bigger as the water bath chills. I recommend dumping the first 3 or 4 drops of ice, back into the water reservoir. This will speed up the water chilling and make bigger ice cubes faster.
