[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I replaced an 8 year old whirlpool microwave that died. The new oven is much nicer looking and thankfully all the mounting brackets and things were the same size. I felt like the earlier one died too soon, but we were looking for stainless and the features were similar. It was a good choice, hope it lasts longer than 8 years!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am not pleased that every function is so automated that I must make several choices every time I use it. The Whirlpool this one replaced was so much simpler to operate. Additionally, I don’t want to cover dishes with plastic wrap when I reheat. What an environmental waste!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this as a replacement for the same make and model I bought about 6 years ago. That one just quit. Cheaper to buy new one than repair. I like the features and it’s easy to use. I installed myself.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this over the stove microwave oven to replace one (that rhymes with Madvantium) that failed. What I like about my new microwave is the size, it is cavernous inside and easy to clean, it comes with a rack that allows you to stack items inside the oven, the vent is powerful and efficient, the controls are intuitive and easy to clean and the chime is pleasant and not earsplitting. What I don’t like is the light that shine down on the stove. It is a bit weak and only illuminates the back burners. This is only a minor complaint and considering everything that I like about this oven, the positives far outweigh the negatives and I do wholeheartedly recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This microwave is very similar to our old one. I purchased this one because of the rack but it can’t be used unless you have two plates in it. Had I known that, I would have purchased the other one. I would prefer the enamel surface over the nonstick surface.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like my model EXCEPT that the keyboard doesn’t stay lit compared to my last microwave. Also, what is the deal with the metal tray? I took it out and will stay out. This appliance works well, but nothing above a countertop one for 1/3 the cost.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this whirlpool microwave because we had almost the same model for the last 15 yrs. It was still working well after all that time through a family of four. But after getting a new kitchen it had seen better days as the plastic casing around the control panel was cracking. I mainly use it for warming leftovers and warming up coffee and water for tea. Given that the kids have grown we’re making greater use of the microwave for smaller meals. My wife is looking to expand it’s use beyond Sweet Potatoes and vegetable. The hope is that meals become quicker to prepare and extend to a greater variety.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great microwave. However, I would put the vent towards the back and the light towards the front so you can see to cook on stove, not have the back wall lit up. I also would add a mini popcorn, and frozen veggie express buttons.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think this is a fine microwave. The reason I only gave it a one-star rating is because it only lasted 3 or 4 years before the magnetron broke, meaning it could no longer heat up anything. The reason I bought a Whirlpool in the first place was because Consumer Reports said Whirlpool made the most reliable over-the-counter microwave. So why did I buy the same model again? Because I didn’t want to replace the bracket and cut out the template to drill the screw holes, such a pain in the neck and is prone to error. So I just bought another one and had it up there in a few minutes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Came with no directions. Cooks too hot and when turn power mode down does not stay.
If open door to check on how cooked it is it, the time programed deletes starts over again! Steamer time for veggies is limited to just veggies even though all types of vegetables are different thickness!
