Happened to have 3 DeWalt batts and a charger so I grabbed this after getting fed up with a few stick vacs that cost more (but with batt/charger of course) including the way-overpriced Dyson.
What a simple effective tool! Light, rolls great, twist-steers great, great suction, opens and cleans easily, filter blows out well with compressed air. I doubt I will ever need to replace the filter. The small battery lasts for my my cleaning session but if it did not I have another small and a large battery and these are easily changed which is not an option with any other cordless stick vac which would require a recharge. There is nothing not to like. Life-changing tool for those of us that own 150lb. shedding machines.
Install the long extension and floor nozzle and you are set for any floor type. Very manageable on small rugs where you need to play the twister game due to suction with a foot on one end and pull the vac towards the other end because it is so light and easy to handle. All attachments included. A pleasure to use and makes the annoying hair cleanup task enjoyable with it’s exceptional performance. Don’t hesitate buy one now!

Love this cordless vacuum! I bought it for my husband for Fathers Day to use cleaning our vehicles and boat. He uses it all the time! He loves it and I do too! It has great suction power and cleans really well and is light enough I can use it. I would definitely recommend! I know you can find cheaper cordless vacuums but this one is Dewalt which is extremely reputable and it works terrific!!!

This ‘stick’ vacuum is well made and has a strong vacuum. With all the accessories it’s perfect for the car and alternately can be used on the floor of the house or garage. Love it. You’ll need the larger battery – 5 or 6 mAH – for big clean ups

First thing that really impressed me as soon as I used it was the suction. Iāve had a few other portable brands for vehicles, and this one has significantly stronger. Second thing is all the quality attachments. They arenāt brittle attachments that break first use (like a different brand I had), and there are enough for all the tricky places in a vehicle, especially under seats and by console. Last thing that impressed me was the light. When I purchased it I was like, āmehā kinda irrelevant add-on, but I was wrong. Perfect for again under the seats and by the centre console. That light was a pleasant surprise. Ya, very impressed, even though the DEWALT brand is about twice the price of other portable ones Iāve owned, this one for me has been totally worth the price.

Great vacuum. Iām assuming because of the suction power, this unit consumes battery power quicker than other Dewalt products. Doesnāt matter to me because I have plenty of Dewalt batteries. Made well, plenty of attachments, and very portable. Use it all the time.

I have a Aerus Lux upright that is a fantastic vacuum. Unfortunately, it weighs a ton and you have to haul an accessory caddy along with it. It is a pain to haul it out for that little job. I am always struggling to get ceilings and corners because I have to constantly move and reposition the vacuum to clean. Then there is the fear of pulling it over trying to reach a corner. My parents and brother have been using battery powered vacuums for a while and they love them. My concern was the batteries. I didn’t want to trash the unit if the battery went bad nor did I want to have to hunt down and buy a replacement battery that costs as much as the unit itself. I thought it would be great if the unit used the Dewalt batteries I had for a drill I got as a Christmas present and here it is.
This vacuum is great. It it extremely high quality and very durable. It’s light and portable. It’s always ready to go for that little job. It makes cleaning ceilings and corners a breeze. It has excellent suction for it’s size. As I mentioned, it uses a standardized battery pack that is easy to find and can be used for other things. It also has a bright LED to illuminate what you are cleaning. The included accessories let’s you do almost anything with the exception of carpets. This is either a plus or minus as units like these do only a basic job at vacuuming carpets when they can, while heavily diminishing battery life using a powered carpet attachment. All in all, it is definitely great for around the house and it is just what I was looking for.
The drawback to this vacuum is that it is optimized for shop use. It lacks the ability for powered attachments if that is a must have. It also lacks a flashy status panel that lets you see the battery life and adjust the suction to maximize battery life. Fortunately, the batteries do have status lights built into them. The unit also does not come with a battery or charger which adds to the overall cost to getting started, unless you already have them, which may put some people off because they are not cheap.
The battery life is highly dependent on the batteries you have. My 1.5Ah batteries last under 10 minutes. The 5Ah batteries supposedly last over 20 minutes. I just purchased one on sale and I would say that is accurate. There are also much larger batteries available.
This vacuum is definitely one to take a look at. It’s light, powerful and extremely well built. It uses easy to find DeWalt batteries. Definitely a must have if you already have batteries and a charger.
