This vacuum, although all plastic, it awesome. The first time I used it, I could not believe the stuff it removed from our carpets. Not expensive, but
yet very powerful. Light weight and easy to maneuver. Worth beyond what you pay for it.

I am a serious clean freak with two long hair cats. This is truly the BEST vacuum I’ve ever purchased!
Besides it picking up ALL the kitty fur, it also picks up all of the kitty liter. Many other vacuums I have tried, only seems to scatter the kitty litter, making it a much bigger chore to complete. Oh, and the pet attachment is a God sent.

Vacuums well and is nice and light but the assembly process is a pain!! The handle part doesn’t fit well on the actual Vaccum, poor manufacturing.

For the price, this vacuum is terrific. The suction power is STRONG. I love that you can detach the hose and wand and use the attachments to get cobwebs on the ceiling etc. I like the size of the dirt cup as well.
Downsides:
– The wand is short. I went onto the Dirt Devil website to order an extension wand; it was a mere
$10 plus $10 in shipping (and several days’ wait). Without the extension wand, you have to bend way over to use the attachments (I have textured rugs and use the wand tool on them) or are limited as to how high you can reach. Why not offer the wand as an add-on with the cord rewind version of the machine?
– Mine does not easily lock into the upright position. It seems like the mechanism is defective.
– Attachments fall off of the holders constantly.
But, again, for the price, I find it an effective, lightweight, versatile vacuum. I find it terrific for the price.

I’m impressed. This was a replacement from a Dirt Devil that lasted 10 yrs. My new Dirt Devil is great quality. Really good cleaning my carpet. Excellent suction. Great value. Light weight and everyone said they were impressed.

I had doubts seeing how cheap this thing was. I thought it would be junk. I only used it one time so I can’t speak about the longevity. The suction is incredible for such an inexpensive vacuum. It’s bagless and the best part is it’s very simple to empty the dirt container. No dirty hands. It has two filters but the best part is they are washable. You don’t have to buy new ones. It has a nice simple to use attachment. Putting it together I thought would be a problem when it arrived looking at the instructions. Then I found they have quick assemble instructions right on the box. Simple to assemble in less than four minutes. I had bagless vacuums before and it was very messy to deal with. This has a very good design to empty. Now the question is will it last? Actually think it picks up much more dust than my expensive bag vacuum. I don’t do many reviews here but if I’m impressed with something that works and is cheap I’m writing.

My last Dirt Devil lasted for years and years. When I needed to finally get a new one, I found they’d greatly improved. More sturdy, different height adjustments, etc. Works very well.
