[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s been 2 months no issues, purchased just the basic unit. I’m very careful not to overload the machine because I know from being a washing machine repairman that it is not built to take it. I wish they made him like they did in the old days with the three bolt transmission. Those machines lasted 20 years with no problems and could handle a little abuse.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far I have been using this washer machine for the last 5 months. It has met my expectations with the agitator quality and ease of use. However, there were a few instances where the washer did not drain properly. Also, I am not sure about the placement of the washer filter, so it makes it challenging to ensure that it’s emptied every 3 months to avoid clogs. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!

I am very happy with purchase of this washing machine, as it really seems to get the clothes clean and I like how it very efficiently extracts the water from the final rinse. In addition, the machine is quiet and I like how the buttons are set up with a large selection of washes to choose from. I think Amana did a very good job in designing and building this washer. I moved into a rental home with no washer or dryer so I went to my local Amana dealer and purchased a Model NTW4516FW top load washer and a Model NED4655EW electric dryer. Both machines work flawlessly and they were both very reasonably priced. They have excellent capacities and wash and dry with very short time spans and have many convenient features. We bought the Amana washer and dryer when building our new home. We have a small front loading set in our RV, and we swore we wouldn’t own a larger set in our home! This is an “old school” top loading washer (and dryer) with an agitator that works FABULOUSLY!! We are thrilled at how well – both the Amana washer and Amana dryer work!! My bf and recently purchased the Washer – we love the quality of appliance we got for the buck! – might be cheaper than most brand new washers, but, really has decent quality and washes our clothes well.
