We purchased the same model but the Canadian Tire version (2852N) The suction power is amazing, cord is a great length. Only wish the cord had something to snap into up high, so you didn’t run it over so much. I’m honestly shocked and a little disgusted to see how much hair, dust and dander this vacuum sucked up. I vacuumed everyday with our bissell magic stick. The lights are also a great feature, it illuminates things you definitely would miss otherwise

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a white haired cat and a huge dark colored rug, as well as a beagle. So lots of hair and cat litter dust. This vacuum is amazing at picking up hair and dust. The fine powder that’s in the bottom of the canister amazes me every time. I love the hepa filter, and haven’t had to clean the rollers. If I had any negatives, it is fairly heavy, the cord comes out the bottom so you do need to hook the cord so it doesn’t get in the way, and I miss having more attachments for the wand. It comes with two, an electric roller brush that’s a bit awkward to use due to lack of bending so it needs to be completely flat and lined up with the wand– great for stairs, I wanted to use it on my dog bed but you basically need to be level with the ground yourself with the wand handle also parallel to the floor. If the accessory had an elbow that bent, it would’ve been amazing. The other is a brush accessory and I can see the bristles wearing out eventually. I miss the non brush attachment most vaccuums have. Overall though, for the price, this is an amazing and powerful vaccuum.

I have 3 cats and u won’t even see the hair until u sweep and empty! I have the cleanview rewind before this. I thought I loved that vacuum to death until I got this one. I would buy over and over so please bissell never stop making this model!!! I have not had to replace a belt.. filters. Yes.. but that says a lot about a vacuum..

This picked up an insane amount of dust and hair (my own) that my old one didn’t. I had no idea this much dust and hair was stuck in my carpet. And that was with air purifiers running 24/7. Completely worth the price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fourteen years ago I needed a vacuum. I went to a superstore nearby and bought something inexpensive but by a brand I trusted. The old Bissell 3537 (in the picture). Needless to say, 14 years is too long to have kept it. And while it still works fine, it’s getting a new home as a donation. I tried out my brand new 2998 yesterday. A home inspector had left a mess on a small section of my hardwood floor. I had literally just taken it out of the box. It cleaned that area so well I honestly couldn’t believe my eyes. See… the previous model had no way to turn off the brush. so it did not clean hardwood floors or tile well at all. Today I put it through its paces, cleaning my whole house. Our home is 85% hardwood floors and tile – and we have two cats. Medium hair but they still shed it everywhere. I even cleaned their “tree”. It cleans hardwood floors and tile better than anything I’ve ever seen. And while you may laugh at this, the lights on the front of the machine are invaluable. No matter how many lights I turn on, they don’t illuminate the dirt like the vacuum’s headlights. I never knew I needed them till today. The Pet Turbo Eraser tool is terrific for furniture, sofas, the cat tree, heck I even used it on the bedspread. The 2 in 1 dusting brush I was less impressed with, but it still did what it was supposed to do. The Lift Off system is the way to go. A huge convenience. I only wish it had its own headlights. LOL It’s quiet (for a vacuum) and in my opinion has just the right sucking power for what we need. Some vacuums are so strong they suck up power cords, and area rugs and you have to bend down and pull those out. Not so here. So I guess in a way I’m saying it’s not the strongest vacuum you can buy. But for normal dirt, pet hair, dust, kitty litter, etc… it’s the best product I’ve ever used. And I hate to clean. My wife said, “I’ve never seen you so excited to clean before.” Saves us getting the cleaning service we were considering buying! š

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The unit is relatively light weight, hose and nozzle accessories great as is dropping the base and use as a canister vac.. quiet as compared to some other vacuums. The swivel head takes a little getting use to, but definitely handy.. Plenty of suction power. Thank you Bill

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have oak floors, a white couch, plus a very thick Persian rug in the living area. And two dogs! I needed a vacuum to handle it all. This one does. The price was right, it has strong suction, a long cord, plus the tools stow right on the unit. The turbo pet tool REALLY gets up the hair! I traveled for 7 weeks over the summer with both pups riding and sleeping in the ‘hammock’ in the back seat of my truck. There was a TON of hair after my trip, but the pet hair attachment got it all. The two things that could improve: Using the lift-off part with the hose is a little awkward; it wants to pull the whole vacuum over if you aren’t careful. And the edge tool should have a way to retract and LOCK the brush out of the way. Otherwise, I’m very happy with this vacuum.

I was sad to hear my 15+ year old Lift-Off vacuum dying a slow death because I loved it so much. I am happy to report I love my new Lift-Off even more! It is lighter, quieter, maneuvers better (swivel!) and is picking up way more dirt and cat hair. Thank you for continuing to make your products better and for your focus on the lives of our beloved furry family members.

So impressed!! Had a Shark animal and Dyson before that. This is doing a better job than both of them!! Lightweight, no useless extra parts. Long cord. Great suction! If I could just get my rescue, Petey to stop trying to attack it ā¤ļø
