Great product! Excellent suction power on either of the two settings.. the super power suction is insanely powerful. Long lasting battery. Would be great if this came with a car charger in addition to the regular AC plug. Bought this for my car but I’m using it a lot at home and it picks up dust great. A+++
UPDATE: This is THE best dustbuster I have ever had (and I’ve had a lot!) I’m talking about lasting battery power, suction strength, and size and ease of cleaning the dust collecting compartment. I’ve been using it for a while now, originally got it for my car but it’s so helpful around the apartment I actually use it more at home than in the car. I did two small clean up jobs last week and didn’t plug in the charger after. Then today I used it on the floors in almost a half my apartment, and the dressers and tables, and the battery and suction power were strong and dependable. I went to my computer thinking, “this thing really deserves a great review” and I signed into Amazon and when I called up this order to write a review, I see I already had done one. It’s well deserved. When I say “don’t hesitate” I really mean it. This isn’t for wet/spills it’s a dry vac.
FEATURE REQUEST: A soft brush attachment for dusting shelves and dressers would be helpful. Also the rectangular shape of the mouth is great but an attachment for a few inches more of extension with a small round opening for dusting small items would be amazing.

I love this dustbuster vac. I struggled for years with one that had a different design that was so difficult to empty the cannister and reattach it. This one couldn’t be easier-press one button to open and dump. The dual filters inside are also very easy to remove, clean, and reinsert when necessary. It’s got great suction and is super easy to charge-just plug it in. There are no bases for it to sit in and no battery to remove and reinstall to charge. It’s also not too heavy.

I do woodworking and purchased the Dustbuster for my wood shop. So far I am loving it. Normally I have dust collection apparatuses attached to the tool to clean up sawdust as it’s made but nothing catches all of it – there’s always some leftover. The Dustbuster is there to get the sawdust from tools that do not have dust extraction attached to them such as hand tools and the like. It works great. Its very powerful and has a large capacity as well. The extendable neck is convenient as a crevace tool and it’s built right into the vacuum. Over all I cannot speak highly enough about this vacuum. I think B&D really hit the ball out of the park on this one!

I used it to clean sofa, recliner and carpet in my car. The suction power is good but duration of use doesn’t last for a long time.

I love this vacuum for several reasons. First of all, it is lightweight. The suction is fantastic could be a little loud, but hey, it’s because it’s doing the job! Another great feature is that you can extend it in the front for harder to reach areas. LOVE THIS ADDITION! I loved it so much in comparison to others that we had that I purchased two. One I keep upstairs and one downstairs.

I have a 2 bed 2 bath 1000sqft duplex with all hardwood floor. I got this mainly to pickup dust along my baseboards and the crumbs from my 2yr old because a broom alone does not get everything and I don’t want to drag a full size vacuum across wood floors. The battery life is a challenge to meet my needs, if I move quick enough I can get a good portion of the spaces done in one time but, if I use the stronger speed it cuts down that time quite a bit. I’m not sure if it’s the suction or the angle of the tip but I seem to have to hold it a certain way for it to fully get inside crevices like the tracks on a closet door. Even sucking up food crumbs from my child it sometimes takes multiple passes over the same spot. So, a little disappointed with the performance as I thought it would be like the old school dust buster my grandma used to have when I was a kid. It’s very light so it is easy to carry around and maneuver, it’s also easy to empty the canister and clean the filter. I’m not sure how it compares to other brands as this is the first I’ve owned, if given the option again I’d probably try a different one based on the battery life and suction power but, it does get the job done for small crumb messes.

You always get what you pay for. I was not disappointed

Powerful suction, easy to empty out; however, either out cheapness to “economize” on buttons or purely bad design it has an annoyingly loud feature. Every time it’s turned off – the same on/off button also gives it a power boost whether needed or not. Couldn’t B&D have instead a two-position switch so the user could decide whether a suction boost is needed? That’s no different than a car maker designing a car that when the driver turns the ignition key to the off position it makes the engine rev up first. Dumb.

I have three dogs. In particular one sheds like crazy from May through August. I never thought I had anxiety until I got this dog. Love the dog hate the hair mess. But this small black and decker handheld vac helps me keep up with all the hair. I use it especially on the steps. It is Very portable and the power is strong enough for good suction. Charging is easy and fast. Definitely would recommend this item and if needed, I would buy it again.

I didn’t know I needed this product as much as I do until I bought one. This hand-vac is so convenient for picking up little messes. I love that it is easy to empty, easy to charge, and always ready when I need it. I’ve used this for picking up dry food spills, dust bunnies around my base boards throughout my apartment, and I have even used it to catch flies in my kitchen window. This vac has two power settings which is convenient since you can control how strong the suction is as needed which can help you make the battery last a little longer. I am a big fan of this hand-vac. It is my first one, but definitely not my last one. I highly recommend it.

Good looks, easy to charge and great capacity. In addition it seems good build quality and is easy to empty. It is great for the car and outdoor cushions etc. Price wise it kind of falls in the middle, nowhere near the most expensive and not the cheapest. Oh yes the suction is pretty good too.

Pros: the vac is lightweight which is good for those with weak arm strength; it has good suction and works well vacuuming kitty litter, even on low pile carpet; it has indicator lights for charging; the lights also indicate when the battery is getting low; emptying the canister is simple; the nozzle extends a few inches which is helpful; it can be left plugged into the charger without over charging. Also, it has 2 suction settings. I haven’t used the higher suction because it works well on the regular suction when you turn it on. Also, it’s not very loud.
Cons: when fully discharged, it takes quite a while to completely charge. I have a cat that likes to chew on charging cables and don’t have a secure area to keep it charged in. It would be handy if there was an area on the vac to hold the charger when it’s not being charged.
I’m glad I bought this hand vac. I like it enough that I also bought one for my sister and niece.

Suction tube extender is extremely useful. It has good suction, battery last quite a long time. Two minor issues:
1. You need to toggle through high suction to turn it off, a sliding two way switch would be better.
2 a charging cradle would be a good accessory
