On the dewalt version. It has plenty of power and with the ease of use it works better than a corded vacuum and a broom. Due to being easily deployed and having shop vac like suction. I suggest getting the biggest dewalt battery you can find. the little batteries work but go dead quickly 9ah battery or larger are suggested.

I was so excited for this, however I went to vacuum car and it took two of my fully charged DeWalt batteries just to vacuum my small SUV. Debating if I should keep or not. Otherwise it worked well but didnāt last not even 10 minutes before it shut off and had to change the battery. Disappointed.
FAKE – DO NOT BUY –
At the van building I work at we have two DeWalt vacuums that are battery powered. I use them often and thought it would be nice to get one for home. Projects looked on here and saw this with good reviews that worked with the Dewalt batteries that I already had. It was quite a bit cheaper, so I gave it a shot. I am pretty impressed with the vacuum overall I like the fact that I can use it for floor cleanup with the extension rods pretty easily. Itās lightweight and pretty. The only downside would be a little noisy, but itās not like youāre vacuuming all day , all in all very Pleased this works better than the shop vacs and also my Ryobi handheld back that I use for small products around the house. A lot better.

So if you already have makita batteries then you can save some money and use this vacuum for simple needs. It’s made from pretty cheap plastics, so it’s not something a professional would use for clean up at a job site. It’s something to use in your shop or garage.
It’s power is very good and will suck up anything. The collector is a major pain to install and get locked in place. It works great, but just doesn’t line up easily and doesn’t want to lock in without some effort. So each time you dump it, expect a couple of minutes of getting back on.
The extensions and heads work well as far as not leaking pressure, but they don’t stay lined up well. Not a big deal, but can be annoying. They are friction fit, but won’t fall apart when using.
The other criticism is it does run through a battery pretty quickly, but it gets the job done well.
On a side note, it would be nice if it had some sort of table/desk, or wall mount holder for the vacuum and the parts. You’re gonna have to make something out of wood or toss it all in a box for storage.
Again, for the price it offers great performance. Money well spent for about 60 bucks.

This review is for makita version vacuum.
First of all let me make it clear to everyone: people think it’s an original makita or dewalt vacuum. It is not. Its a very good copy of dewalt dvc501h model. Maybe it’s made in the same factory because the quality is very good. Thr vacuum is made of quality material but the attachment pipes are of cheap material. You have to snug fit the pipes so they won’t come apart when using the vaccum. I have used the original makita 18v , 5AH battery and it was enough to clean my whole apartment. I have no carpet, just floor. So it worked out fine for me. If you buy makita batteries from other venders then chances are, they may not be original batteries. An original makita battery 18v 5ah goes for $150 bucks in homedepot. So if you are buying a makita battery for 27 dollars, you can’t expect the same performance as the original battery. Some people have complained that the vacuum shuts off after a minute or a few seconds. This is not because of vacuum. Your batteries are either too small, too old or defective. They just don’t have the current to keep up with this vacuum motor. Get a good quality original battery and see the magic.
Some people are saying, it didn’t come with a battery or a cord. Hahaha. You have paid for just the tool. It says clearly in the description that no battery will be shipped.
The vacuum is noisy but i don’t care. I used it to clean my apartment floor and also my car interior. I have a shop wet/dry vacuum and so happens, the flexible pipe that came with that vacuum, fits this cordless vaccum perfectly. So i had used it to clean my car with the small brush attachment. The hose was used from my “stealth ” 3 gallon, 3hp, wet/dry vacuum. Let’s just say, i got lucky. I bet i will not be using my shop vac for a while. This little machine does it all very easily.

Bought this one to replace my Makita battery vacuum that I broke… This one is twice as powerful and has eaten everything I’ve thrown at it so far… It’s intended use was for my office but it works so well I end up using it back in the shop all the time too. Considering I just renovated the office I’ve used it quite a bit and it’s still going strong. Easy to empty and clean the filter. Attachments all work great and are good quality materials. Hit the mark on this one.

I like the vacuum, easy to use for picking up dog hairs. I use a 6-amp battery, and it lasts long enough to do the house. I have all Dewalt power equipment and have batteries from 2-6amp. 2 amp is ok for a quick pick up. So far, the sweeper has done its job, buy the extra filters with the foam outer filter, helps to keep the inner filter clean. There was no foam filter included with the sweeper.

This review is for the XXX brand Cordless Vacuum for De-Walt 20V Battery, 5 in 1 Handheld Electric Vacuum Cleaner.
I’ve purchased two of these cordless vacuums. One for a Dewalt battery and one for a Makita battery. Both perform identically. The suction power is well beyond what I expected. It seems to have the same suction power as my corded Shop Vac. It easily picks up dirt, sand, and even gravel sized rocks. The vacuum runs for about 20 minutes total with a generic 6Ah battery and about the same time with a Dewalt brand 4Ah battery. Since I’ve owned this vacuum, I’ve not pulled out my shop vac once for sweeping out the cars or sweeping the shop floor.
The accessories work well. The floor attachment works remarkably well as the head swivels as it is turned to keep it flat on the floor.
The only complaint is that the vacuum is so strong that most dirt gets sucked directly into the filter instead of the canister area. I would HIGHLY recommend getting another set of filters with the sponge sleeve. The sponge sleeve stops all the bigger pieces of debris and significantly reduces the number of times you have to knock dirt out of the pleated filter.
