This little vaccine works so well. It gets into corners surprisingly well. The suction is great. I love how I can use a smaller attachment like the main floor one on my stairs. I would recommend it to anyone!

battery life 😨 s short on max power. Having the availability of multiple batteries may be helpful. This unit has one attached battery.
however just plug it in when you’re done after letting it rest for a while and get after it the next day.
I use it everyday for n my small area ( carpet)and I am amazed about how much dust dirt and dog hair that I get even after constant vacuuming. Works on the laminate and tile also.
I have noticed my husband (who has asthma) is sneezing and coughing a lot less since I bought this unit and have begun to use it on a daily basis.
I purchased a whole bunch of other accessories to go with it so that I can clean small areas Windows drawers etc and I am looking forward to seeing how that does.
Overall don’t waste your money on the cheap ones get something good, like this unit.

Used my accessories that I purchased to go with this unit. The flexible hose and brush/crevice tool made it so easy! No cords to wrangle!
It’s lightweight design makes it easy on an old lady like myself!
* Side note* this unit must have the trigger depressed manually while using, so that requires two hands whilst car vacuuming.
I believe this feature/ design was meant to conserve battery life during use. I read that there’s an attachment available for keeping the trigger depressed constantly. Not sure tho

I call this the magic wand, despite the fact a very different product has appropriated that name. My needs aren’t great, the house rarely gets very dirty. I wanted a light weight, cordless vacuum to clean chiefly dog fur on two floors, one wood and tile, the other carpeted. The Dyson V8 Plus does the job easily and swiftly, sucking up all the dog debris, small bits of paper, food scraps, and any other dirt on the floors. It is so much more convenient than using one of those big, cumbersome, corded vacuum cleaners I used to have. I hated lugging these around, especially up and down stairs. Now I can carry the Dyson just in one hand and never worry about plugging and re-plugging the machine. I had some difficulties at the beginning because the Dyson got clogged. It still functioned, but not well: it pulsed, instead of being smooth. Only when I downloaded the manual did I discover the simple solution to my problem, which was to find and remove the blockage in the tube. Then the Dyson worked like magic. The battery doesn’t last very long under heavy usage, so I clean one floor at a time, waiting about two hours between these tasks until the machine recharges. I’m probably too cautious because whenever I finish a floor, I know I still have some leftover power. It’s not quiet but nor is it especially noisy – and it works so well I can’t complain.

I’ve been holding out on buying a Dyson for YEARS. I thought there’s NO WAY a vacuum should cost that much more over other vacuum cleaners. How much of a difference could there be in suction? Especially once other brands came out with a knockoff vacuum, right? WRONG
I won’t name the three other brands I bought and tried and used for years. They each did a decent job of vacuuming. I will say what I love about the Dyson and why I won’t go back to another brand. I live with my husband in a 1500 sq ft home along with an elderly small dog and a cat.
First; the suction. Wow, I am amazed at the crap I got up even after I vacuumed with my old vacuum. Great suction and easy dumping canister. My floors look great. This even got up dog hair from an area carpet.
Second; the sound. I have multiple hearing issues. Certain pitches and decibels can really annoy me. The Dyson has low amount of noise. It doesn’t have that high pitch that can sound like fingernails on a chalkboard or screaming to me. The Dyson was a pleasure, the sound is almost gentle. If you HATE the sound of a vacuum, you might try Dyson. My ears are happy.
Third; the weight. It is very very light weight. Super easy to move around and swivel. Crazy easy to get into corners and behind furniture. An absolute breeze to handle.
Fourth; battery time. Lasted long enough for me to vacuum all the floors in my house.
Lastly; quality. Quality parts, switches, buttons, brushes, etc. All are of great quality. I expect this vacuum to last for a very long time. So pleased.

After going through many different makes of vacuum cleaners, I have finally found one that works for the fur of our long-haired dog. I had heard how great the Dyson series of vacuums were, but was always put off by the cost. Finally, after being frustrated by other brands which were effective for a period, but then became more useful as doorstops than as a cleaner, I made the decision to “bite the bullet” and spend the extra money on the brand name vacuum. The first time I used my Dyson, it picked up handfuls of fur from areas that I thought were clean. The carpets look cleaner, and hardwood floors pristine. Suction is strong even on the lower setting to make floors look like new. Emptying the canister is as easy as could be. Battery life is sufficient to clean my small home. I love that by placing the Dyson in the wall hanger it attaches directly to the charger. No searching for charging cords, or charging/change detachable batteries. My Dyson is always ready and charged whenever I need it. It is neatly tucked away, taking up little room. Being an older person, I appreciate the fact that the Dyson is lightweight and easily maneuvered. It is light enough that when the head is removed and used separately, makes cleaning our carpeted stairs easier than ever. In summary, I love my Dyson, and would recommend that the extra cost is well worth it. You will save yourself the frustration of purchasing multiple machines which are not effective. and which will end up costing more in the long-run. My only regret is that by thinking of the cost I was actually denying myself the “pleasure” of a cleaner home. I don’t worry about how much our beautiful dog sheds, and can enjoy her playful personality.

Just what I needed for short jobs. It comes with a convenient hanger to put it up on the wall & the charger threads through that. It came with a 2 yr. warranty and was easy to register. The quick start guide was great and within a couple of minutes I was using it. It doesn’t hold a charge for too long, maybe 10 minutes, but that’s enough vacuuming for me. I use a robot vacuum to do most areas but it doesn’t do corners or around furniture legs so the combo is working for me.

Great vacuum cleaner. It’s lightweight. Easy to use. I like the attachments and how easily to converts to a handheld vacuum. The suction is outstanding. Here is what I absolutely hate about it and what ruins everything else for me: the battery life. It lasts so little. Especially if you use the turbo option. It lasts less than 30 minutes. It’s super disruptive when cleaning and you’re stuck waiting for it to charge so you can continue using it. I have heard the Dyson V15’s battery life is way better. I wish I would’ve gotten that instead. I know it’s more expensive. It’s a huge disappointment because this vacuum is not cheap. It’s several hundred dollars. And I think it’s so disrespectful to the consumer spending all this money on a vacuum cleaner for us to not be able to fully use it as intended because the manufacturer couldn’t produce a better battery. Having to stop and recharge every 20 to 30 minutes is a joke. I’ll be returning it.
