Es de muy buen tamaƱo para cualquier espacio, tarda un poco en empezar a hacer hielo pero cuando se tiene conectada por mas de 2 horas trabaja mucho mejor, la recomiendo

Does what it is supposed to do. Easily and with no issues. Recommend using only filtered water to avoid future issues with deposits as happened to a previous model.

I almost returned this when my wife pointed out it doesn’t make Sonic style ice but so far I’m really glad I kept it!
My household uses a lot of ice. Our fridge ice maker is defective so I got this as an alternative. I got the red one because the copper one that some reviews mentioned as a better model took longer to deliver. I have been using the large ice setting, I haven’t tried the small size yet. I love the simplistic looking design, you can see exactly how it makes the ice.
So I’ve had this for a month now, plugged in and going. I’m not sure if I’m really supposed to run it overnight but I’ve left it going.
I keep scooping and it keeps filling up the ice. If I don’t get to the ice in time it melts back into the tank, no big deal because new ice is made quickly. I’ve refilled the water about 7 or 8 times since I got it; I fill it like every 3-4 days. It’s been great in the morning to fill water bottles for my kids before school. Even if a cube got stuck overnight and it’s down near the bottom, I just scoop it out and let it make a few batches of new ice every few minutes.
Based on other reviews I was worried about the need to clean it frequently but there’s no visible sign of mold yet. I think the combination of frequent use and having a big BlueAir purifier in the kitchen as well helps tremendously. I’ve noticed my air purifier seems to keep a lot of mold out of the air and prevents it from growing on food and surfaces like inside this ice maker.
The fan makes noise, nothing obnoxious or distracting but if you’re standing next to it while someone’s talking to you from another room, you might not hear them clearly. It doesn’t bother me.
I think it’s fairly energy efficient. Aside from a 2 second 8A peak at startup my Kill-A-Watt says it uses about 95W while it’s freezing which is about 5-8 minutes per ice batch. The rest of the time plugged in I wasn’t measuring anything other than 6W when it’s dumping the ice into the tray.
So far the only annoyance is when it dumps ice into the tray and one piece blocks the IR sensor so it thinks the ice is full. It happens occasionally if there’s partially melted ice on the bottom.
5 stars for now; I love never running out of ice!

I purchased this unit on December 2, 2022. It has been great for me. It produces ice quickly. Could I have a complaint? maybe if I didn’t have to fill it. Turn it off and turn it back on if it goes to empty, it will start right back up, I don’t have to wait 3 minutes for mine like I have read in reviews. It makes a small amount of noise, but what would one expect? It’s not inside of your freezer door. Cleaning is a little difficult, but it is necessary about once a month if you want to prevent mold.

While visiting my grandparents, the ice maker needed water but I wasn’t sure how much was already in the machine. The ice maker is ontop of their 45″ coffee bar cabinet (I’m 5’1). I got a step stool and opened the cover to check the water level.
I was stunned by what I saw! Before you go judge or assume that she is dirty etc, as stated in my orginal review below about cleaning the machine, that this can happen quickly. My 86 y/o grandmother is ODC clean & keeps an immaculate home! When I visit, I will clean the machine if I remember, otherwise she will do it.. The last time she thoroughly cleaned the machine was almost 3-weeks ago. Goes to show how quickly debris (and lawrd knows whatelse inside) can accumulate. My cleaning tips are at the bottom of my original review.
I have added additional photos to show you how the machine can quickly collect dust, debris etc just from sitting with a closed lid.
My grandmother has the ice maker on a raised stand on her countertop – when filling the machine with water, this went unseen. My grandmother was mortified when she saw this.
She actually started to cry in fear her or my grandfather would get sick. She almost had me remove the ice maker.
This is why I STRESSED about frequent cleanings in my original review.

Original Unedited Review:
I purchased this for my 85 year old grandparents. Their new refrigerator has a botton freezer (which they wanted) but limited freezer space so they took out the ice maker to make room. Every time we had family gatherings, there was no ice not even a tray.
When I mentioned buying this to my grandmother – she didn’t want to hear it. She said there would be no room for it on her counters (she has plenty of room). I think they were more concerned they wouldn’t know how to operate it without help or how it would ‘look’ if company came lol. It blends in nicely with her other black & stainless appliances. If anything, her friends/company raves about the maker.
I had the ice maker shipped to my grandparents house ā and when they received it, they couldn’t get over how well packaged it was ā it also has a blue film covering protecting the entire stainless machine. āļøš§āļøš§āļøš§āļøš§ and couldn’t get over how compact the ice maker is, how quick it produces ice, and how easy it is to operate.
They have actually used this several times when having outdoor gatherings. We plug it into the outside outlet or portable generator & wah lah! It was in the mid 90s with 100% humidity & the lid kept the ice intact – no issues with melting.
The ice cubes are large nuggets which is nice.. Depending on your tap water minerals, I recommend using filtered water to reduce build-up.
*The machine is very easy to clean AND SO IMPORTANT (PLEASE READ). When I visited, I noticed the machine had a ‘water smell’ and knew it just needed a cleaning.
I do recommend cleaning & sanitizing the machine every 4-6 weeks and clean the basket frequently. If you don’t want to spend the money on ice machine cleaner – then white vinegar works just as good if not better. I put distilled vinegar in a spray bottle (1:1 ratio) and spray the inside really good. I would use a lint free microfiber cloth or an old t-shirt to wipe (DON’T USE HARSH CHEMICALS) – you can also mix water & Dawn together and use it as a spray. You’ll want to grab a toothbrush for hard to reach spots. Vinegar is a safe – natural disinfectant & descaler. Anything that gets left uncleaned has the chance to build up grime for another 2 months. DON’T SKIP THIS STEP – YOU WILL GET SICK!! šŖ„š§½š§¼
*MAKE SURE you pour/fill the ice maker with the vinegar solution (vinegar/water), just like how you make ice! Making this ice fills the spaces most likely to have buildup, like the ice maker’s teeth, with your solution. Make sure you give the machine a good thorough rinse because you don’t want your ice to taste like vinegar. This may seem like a pain or a lot to do but it’s actually not. So quick but so IMPORTANT. You DON’T want to take chances on getting sick or someone else because ALL ice makers create mold, slime, e-coli, pests, dust, and dirtādebris of all kinds can affect the quality of your ice. Look out for green or black patches on your ice, because thatās a sure sign that itās in need of a clean. But other dangers can be harder to spot.
I hope you found my review helpful! I know it’s a little long but I rather share helpful information & not have someone get sick.

Simplemente magnĆfica, al principio hace hielos pequeƱos, pero despuĆ©s de 30/45 minutos empieza a hacer hielos de buen tamaƱo, para acelerar el proceso les recomiendo empezar con agua frĆa,

Great machine for my use… only complaints are that it does not do an effective job of keeping the cubes frozen once they’re in the basket and the difference between “small” and “large” cubes is marginal (think USD 5Ā¢ nickel > 25Ā¢ quarter sizes).
I just empty the basket into a separate ice bucket and keep them in my freezer so they don’t melt. Low noise and very fast.

After the copper water line leaked and caused a mess downstairs, I replaced my freezer icemaker with just this, and I now really prefer it for my ice cube needs. I don’t need ice cubes often, so I was dumping old ice cubes from the freezer that got dried and yucky. Now, I just make about a quart amount, bag them in a plastic bag and set in freezer bin. This ice maker is fast, and I use filtered water so it’s probably cleaner than my freezer used to use. I let it dry out with top open, then store it in my pantry closet, out of site. It’s pretty enough to leave out if I wanted to, but it’s too big to have on the counter when I am not using it.

We love our icemaker, it was the best purchase for our upcoming summer months. It is easy to use. Has a cleaning cycle which Is simple and effective. The ice is produced quickly and is great for our needs as a house of 2 who use the ice. You can make 2 different sizes of ice and it is so simple to use. We ran a clean cycle and then ran water through twice and the ice has had no chemical/plastic taste whatsoever. If you are debating an ice maker I say look no further and commit.

The ice doesnāt last very long in the basket seems to melt quickly. But it makes ice remarkably fast
