I’ve had the dryer for 1 month brand new and it no longer starts. It turns on but does not begin the drying cycle. I’ve owned a microwave, fridge, dishwasher, and now washer and dryer and I’ve had so many issues with all of them. If my home didn’t come with frigidaire appliances, I would never own a Frigidaire product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far it’s been great! On one load it didn’t dry fully so we had to put the temp higher But other than that no other issues!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife and I bought our brand new house and we got the blessing to also get this Frigidaire Dryer that works super well.
We love it because it has lots of room to dry many clothes in one sit and it does the job super well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When it came time to replace our (gasp!) 31 year old dryer, I knew I had a slightly hard task ahead. The new dryer had to fit in the same upstairs hallway laundry closet which had some particular requirements. The previous dryer had a pull-down dryer door that just barely cleared the hinged “accordion-style” doors that hid the dryer and washer. That previous unit’s door was just 19″ wide but it appears today’s dryers are nearly all spec’d at 23″ wide. None would fit because of that fact. I would have to buy a dryer with a swinging door but again, the closet’s door would prevent the dryer’s door from opening wide enough to easily put clothes in or take them out after drying. I looked at all the dryer’s at the local East Coast Appliance and found a potential fit. I found the Frigidaire FFRE4120SW which was just 27″ wide (nearly all other brands are 29″ wide) and, had a pull-down door measuring 20″. I also remembered that our previous washing machine had been a Frigidaire and it had lasted 23 trouble-free years (until the no longer available part, the “button catcher”, started slowly leaking). Otherwise, I’d have been able to repair it myself! So, feeling very confident with my experience with the brand and the width of the new Frigidaire, I purchased it. This new dryer is a bit deeper than many of the competitive models at 30″ (most others are 28″). This will make no difference if you have a dedicated laundry room or, have your washer and dryer in the basement. However, I was concerned that deeper depth might prevent the laundry closet doors from closing. Not to fear, I decided to move the door’s runner outward 1 and 1/4″ (there was plenty of room in the door frame to do this without it being noticeable – see my pics). The dryer fit perfectly and, we are very, very happy with this new modern dryer. It is considerably quieter than the previous dryer (a Whirlpool) and we are enjoying the myriad of cycling options available on this new Frigidaire! This new unit has electronic controls and a modern LED display. It is also very solidly built. The substantial door closes with a very solid thunk. The friendly installation crew from our local retailer did a very professional job carting away the old dryer and bringing the new dryer upstairs to the laundry closet. We are very happy Frigidaire laundry customers, again! (We also own a beautiful slid-in smooth top Frigidaire range we bought 6 years ago that we love)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this Frigidaire dryer a month ago to replace a 35 year old Frigidaire dryer that cost more to repair than it was worth. This new dryer is pretty nice. It’s seems to take longer to dry the clothes than my old dryer did. This seems to be a common theme with modern dryers based on customer reviews I’ve read covering many brands. It’s not a major issue with me. The clothes do dry nicely. But it does take a little longer than my older model. I gave it 4 stars because it didn’t come with interior drum light. My older model had one and it was a nice feature to have to see the clothes in the drum you need to remove. Like my older model dryer you can change the way the dryer door swings open. Most dryers come pre-assembled so the door may either open and close on either the right or left side. Frigidaire put white rubber plugs in the screw holes on my older model to cover the side that wasn’t used. In my new dryer, the screw holes are predrilled and not covered with these white rubber plugs. It must be a cost saving decision by Frigidaire. It’s a small detail I know but it looks unfished and cheap.

We start out looking for a dryer that was not a basic model or a blown up bells and whistle’s model either. This is a great intermediate appliance for it’s money. The features in the quietness of this machine make it worth the price. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
