I absolutely love this refrigerator! High quality and easy food organization. I can clearly see everything, so there is less waste. Easy to access food in the freezer and refrigerator sections. After living with a French Door style for 15 years, it’s a huge relief to go back to a Side by Side!

Love this appliance!!! It gives me the space I need inside with the multiple shelves and drawers. I have the option of rearranging the shelves to what ever level I need. There is plenty of space in the door of the refrigerator side for my fruits, veggies, spices, and my kids snacks. The freezer side is perfect for monthly meat stocking. The baskets hold around 15lbs+ of meat each. It’s got 3 shelves which I can rearrange as well if pleasing. The door has pockets as well for smaller items like freezing fruit or placing ice cream cups in. Our favorite feature is definitely the ice crusher and water dispenser.

This refrigerator is an upgrade from my previous GE side-by-side. I really appreciate the extra LED lighting in being able to see items quickly which means less time with door open. The fingerprint resistant feature is also nice in keeping a cleaner appearance on the doors and handles.

I’m happy with this refrigerator so far. It operates quietly and makes ice a little faster now that it is on a regular cycle. I’m glad I went back to a Side-by-Side. I did have an issue with the ice melting together in clumps in the ice tray. I removed the clumps and it seems to be putting out ice a little better now. And I like that the front doors are metal so I can put magnets on it. My other Kenmore Elite was not metal on the front.

What a nice fridge. We needed something a little bigger. Didn’t have much space. We measured 36” across and when the fridge arrived it was 1/4” too wide.
No problem. Had my contractor remove a piece of wood trim and we got it in.
It runs so quiet, quick and easy set up. Cooling and freezing food perfectly and most importantly easy to access water filter to change out.
Replaced my old Kenmore.
Have all Slate finish because no fingerprints show.
Love good old tried and true GE.

Great fridge so far! Quiet, lots of adjustable space. Nice having water and ice in the door again. The only reason it didn’t get 5 stars is that the doors stick up an additional inch from the body of the fridge. The fridge fits perfectly in the cabinet space per the measurements. Unfortunately, we have cabinets above the fridge space. So now, we have to open the fridge door in order to open the upper cabinets all the way.

Appearance is great, freezer space is great, but the shelving on the fridge is not very functional. It’s difficult to fit tall items (2 liter bottles) on the top shelf without having to re-adjust other shelves, which then reduces height and “reach in” area on lower shelves. The very bottom shelf on the door of the fridge is so narrow that a 12 oz can is about the only thing that fits.

Got it today, fits great in my 36″ refrigerator space. Replaced a Samsung that stopped working even though it was less than 10 yrs old. It got down to the set temperatures in it 7 hours after installation, works great, making ice already. It looks very good too. Happy so far. Wished more refrigerators came in a 35″ to fit a house with a 36″ space.
GE Refrigerator dont buy –
This refrigerator has no storage. It is super small. The freezer storage is a joke. There are also wheels on it and no feet so whenever you open the door, the refrigerator lurches forward. When you close the door, it moves back which is scary. Also, no instructions will be provided to you when you get it. I mean no manual and no website where you can find the manual. This is by far the worst refrigerator I have ever owned. Do not buy it.

I will never buy another GE appliance again.
The plastic began to break shorty after we bought this. Now, just a few years in, and have had to replace shelves, trim pieces, even sliding bins–all because the white plastic cannot support the weight of basic, everyday use.
THEN, the replacements are insanely overpriced.
