works excellent,useful for warming foods very quickly,making nachos, boiling water for tea’s and for steaming fruits and vegetables when covered, makes popcorn in about 2 minutes. I would rate this microwave at a 10.

You can easily see the buttons. They have the 30 second option. Also all the options you will ever need .ot not yo big or small just right for a counter top microwave .

I am satisfied with this microwave it’s exactly what I needed in size not overly large nor small ,just medium size. I had been going to different Walmart’s and other stores,couldn’t find it till I took a chance and ordered this one and very happy with it.

Your packaging ensures delivery, but when I lifted out one of the boxes of cardboard, the turnaround came with it and it broke in a milllion pieces. Now what. Call me today at the listed phone number so you can deliver the turnaround and pick up the other box with the rest of the microwave.
Annoyed –
This thing is heavy. Set it up on the counter, plugged it in and it automatically turned on and wouldn’t stop running. The touchpad wouldn’t respond to anything. Tried doing the return over the phone and the phone reps refused to let me speak with a supervisor and kept me on indefinite hold passing me from person to person when I asked to return in person. Walmart online purchases make the purchaser liable for the property until the product is physically shipped to another state and processed eventually by a Walmart employee. Not sure why Walmart is allowed to deduct the money until the product arrives then if this is the standard. Now, still no microwave and have to wait weeks for refund so long as FedEx doesn’t lose it. WalMart wouldn’t let me return in person to avoid this risk. Would advise against buying this appliance since this defect is actually a fire hazard according to my online research. Fyi…the customer service who put me on hold forever…just hung up on me.

This microwave was a waste of my money and time! I was having second thoughts about it when I went to the customer service department to pick it up! I saw the same microwave sitting in a cart that someone had just returned! The first time we pulled it out of the box and used it , it started making funny noises! I gave it a few days to see how it would work and the same thing every day so I have returned it for a refund!

We’ve had the microwave for a little over a week now and it seems very much better quality than the last one we had. It works very well and has enough space for larger meals and has tons of features and looks great. My only issue, is that it seems a little underpowered compared to our last microwave. The functionality and appearance are way better than our old microwave, it just seems a tad underpowered. This one is 1100 watts, and replaces a microwave that was 1350 Watts. I’m sure the size difference has an effect as we went from .9 cubic feet to 1.6 cubic feet and had the drop in power output. Other than that we have no complaints and everybody in the house seems to really think it works great.

So far I am happy with my microwave. I use it to reheat things, rather than actually cooking with, so it is perfect. I am getting used to the 1100 watts, that is slightly higher than the one it replaced. I like the “add 30 sec” feature, (my old one had an add 1 min, which is really too long.) I have purchased several small appliances made by Hamilton Beach, and have always been happy with them.

Price, size , simplicity of the microwave is why I chose to buy it and sure enough when we received it we were so happy it so nice and small elegant n perfect for the 2 of us who doesn’t need humongous microwave anymore n easy to clean easy to move it around have setting for 1/2 minute only.. this is perfect for
us now a days living a simple life, Thank you I just hope it came in color red like the others.

Worked great for the first 3 months. It stopped heating 3 days after the 90 day return period was over. No returns after 90 days! I now own a $100 piece of garbage. I would expect a new microwave to last longer than 3 months. I will never buy Hamilton Beach products again!
