I found one used for $300. Just leaving this review here to be helpful. This is a good bike without mentioning any electrical. I took it on the bike trail and thought that peddle assist was on for the first 3 miles but I never even flipped the battery on. It rides that smooth.
This Bike does not have a throttle. It is peddle assist only. However, you can add a a throttle yourself very easily. The controller for the bike is in the bottom end of the battery compartment. You can easily see it if you look. Removed the battery compartment from the bike (three screws). Take battery out and you will see two small screws on the inside BOTTOM of the compartment. Remove both and it will loosen a piece of the plastic on the bottom that is holding in the controller. When you look inside you will see a three pin connector (male) not in use. That is your throttle wire. Come back to amazon and buy the throttle that you want. I chose a simple thumb throttle with female three pin already attached $15. You dont need a throttle. This is a great bike without. It is helpful to have though in case you need to quickly get going for whatever reason.

Ignore the reviews that say this is not a well made EBike.
The bike arrived well packaged, setup was a breeze for me (some experience mechanically).
This is a Class One/Assist only EBike but the system kicks in after about three rounds of pedaling and is adjustable via the electronic speedometer. There also several settings for the assist mode within the speedometer, read the manual. My girlfriend got the step through model and likes the setting that allows no assistance for most of her cycling, but she is able to engage assistance when she wants/needs it easily.
The online resources at Huffy.com are helpful if you need assistance with setup and adjustment to the various components, brakes, derailleur and Electronic Speedometer.
For the several complainers about brake noise, cleaning the disc with some alcohol did wonders for my bikes!

It is a very comfortable beach cruiser but does not give much power to go over the hill to the beach. Bettery is only 35 V 7.8 Ah. Also, it does not have a hand throttle and the electric power does not kick in until about 3 seconds of pedaling. So, for stop and go, you must shift the gear to low before you stop, especially on up hill. Gears are a little wobbly and makes noise at some levels. I bought it when a vendor sold it for $599 with free shipping. It is worth just about that.

I purchased this bicycle for my wife and she loves it. With the exception of the electric motor and disk brakes, it’s a very basic bicycle that provides a comfortable ride. The electric hub motor gives it a nice boost for keeping up with faster and more athletic riders. I no longer have to wait on my wife who usually lags behind when we ride bikes together. Now, she passes me going up grades and laughs because I’m peddling my non-electric bike so aggressively to keep up with her. She is about 5’4″ and with the seat and handlebars adjusted properly, it fits her perfectly. I’m sure it would be a good fit for shorter and taller riders as well just by making these common adjustments. We purchased a lovely basket, mirror, and cup holder for it. It comes with a great-sounding bell and an integrated headlight that is powered by the main battery. The control panel for the pedal assist is very straightforward and easy to understand. The included manual is well-written and is also easy to understand. I do recommend cleaning the disk on the brakes as soon as you get the bicycle assembled because ours made some squeaking noises at first. After cleaning the disk rotor with alcohol, most of those noises went away. Overall, we are very happy with this purchase, especially for the price point. I just recently ordered an electric conversion kit for my Specialized Roll bicycle so I can keep up with my wife riding her “Huffy”.

Me agrado la bicicleta.

This could be a nice bike if the brakes didn’t make such a horrible squeal. Embarrassing to ride. We have tried adjusting and cleaning brakes multiple times and only last a few hours. I will have to replace complete brake system with better quality items at who knows what cost if I want to ever ride this bike in public.

This is a great bike if you want a little help along your riding journey. It is not like a motorcycle, but it does offer some awesome zip to your ride when going uphill or struggling to get moving.
