First impression:
Don’t even think of using an induction adapter for non-induction pots. It won’t get hot enough to fry an egg or boil water without induction pots.
— 90 day update:
Dorm use–
I have cooked all my meals on this unit, since purchased it, and used it 3 times per day. I couldn’t get it warm enough to cook rice, so I bought a $20 rice cooker, problem was solved. Everything else is cooked on an iron skillet if possible, else 18/10 Cook’s wonderful stainless cookware.
Salmon cooks better than if baked, and eggs cook to perfection. Yes, the settings are limited. It responds instantly to more or less heat. My microwave is rarely used now.
Eggs: set at 250 to start, drop to 210 as it gets too hot, bump up as needed.
Chicken tenders cook up nicely in minutes at 280˚. I used to bake everything. WIth an iron skillet, < $100 in pots (Cook's) my meals come out wonderful. I cook for one, so one-pot meals are my specialty. This does the job nicely.

What stands out is its ease of use, with very intuitive controls like multiple power levels, and temperature settings.
The cooktop’s portability is a major advantage for me, as we like sharing hot pots with our friends. Its compact design is ideal for limited spaces in my kitchen.
Safety is also a top priority for me, auto-pan detection and over-heat protection for peace of mind, so I don’t have to worry if I forget to turn it off, and just enjoy the party.
Overall, this Induction Cooktop is top-notch, good-looking, and a great cooking solution I’d highly recommend.

I can easily move it around the kitchen or even take it to events outside my home. It’s incredibly easy to clean, and its sleek design fits perfectly with my kitchen decor. Surprisingly, I find myself preferring it over my regular stove because of its convenience and performance.Overall, the Changbert Induction Cooktop has exceeded my expectations, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an extra cooktop for their cooking needs.

Using this induction cooktop at home, I just set it right on top of my kitchen stove. The cooktop has a fan, but I barely notice the noise.
It’s so much easier to clean and way more efficient than my old one. Heats up from 200 to 1800 watts, it’s easy to simmer at low heat, water boils in just a couple minutes.
Be aware not all pots work with it. I’ve got one that says it’s induction-compatible, but it won’t work. Tried the magnetic tester that came with it, and the magnet barely sticks. Maybe that’s why some people say the cooktop shuts off automatically. If the pot’s not right, it might start but then quickly turn off. I like the way they made it for safety purposes, especially if you have kids around.

I daily used this induction burner over 3 months. It heats water so fast, I’m talking minutes to boil, which is perfect when I’m rushing to make dinner after work. It’s compact too, fitting nicely on my countertop without taking up much space. Noise from the fan is low compared to our old top. It’s perfect for quickly whipping up pasta or heating sauces, just quick, easy cooking. At a much higher price point, I also have a 4 hob drop-in range top that is nice for high power output but missing the timer and temp feature. Overall, I would buy this one.

Love my new cooktop. Price is a little bit cheaper then the one I had. So I’m going to give it a try. This cooktop is sleek look compared to the old one. (Smaller and slimer) very easy to clean, hit up very fast and does not make a loud noise. This is perfect for small kitchen.

Body/Material:
Nicely built. Glass top. Metal housing. Plastic base. Long power cord (approx. 1.5m). Impressed by the size as well. It is a larger cooktop with big heating zone which means it can handle all my various shapes and sizes of pots and pans, as long as they are induction compatible. I’m going to take it to camping too.
Power:
I had a 1500 watt burner foe years. This 1800 watt burner is an upgrade and has significantly improved the heating speed. After several tests, I find it to be faster and more powerful, although I’m not entirely sure why – perhaps it’s the increased 300 watts? Or a more efficient design. But anyway, I’m adjusting my cooking methods for it.
Temperature control:
The temperature control sensor is located beneath the glass surface, which means the displayed temperature is just an approximation and will be different from the cookware’s or food’s actual temperature. So far, I’ve used it for low-temperature cooking and have been pleased with the performance. I haven’t yet tried it for higher-temperature cooking like browning, but that’s next on my list.
Amazon Customer –
Guest use it for everything from bacon and eggs to sautéed veggies or Chicken. The burner is amazing for the price, function and portability. Reliably powerful heating that great manages the culinary demands of busy hours.

The size of this induction top is perfect for my kitchen. I like the stainless steel wrapping around which makes super easy to clean! It’s a bit pricy comparing to other ones I used, but it’s definitely more powerful and can consistently cook more complicated dishes. From the quality and performance, it is worth of the investment!
