Words fail me, to describe this magnificent bike. First off, the packaging was exquisite. Very detailed packaging clearly done to prevent breakage during transit. Unboxing, I could not believe how nice this bike is. Solid sturdy frame, and get this, it is basically all put together!! The ride was wonderful. I am glad it didn’t go any faster, around 18 mph. That is fast enough for me. There is a fender on the front and back. There are safety lights on the front and back that light up. There’s even a sweet little bell. The rear brakes are perfect. Jetson even charged it before mailing. So it arrived with a full charge so I could go for a ride right away. I have never been so impressed with any product, anywhere. Excellent value. I can tell this bike is built to last. (One tiny little drawback is the seat is a bit uncomfortable). Will get gel seat pads to put on there.)

I read the negative reviews before purchasing and they were all unfounded. Not sure what was with the eBike they got, but I am delighted with mine! It’s comfortable, easy to fold up (the handlebars basically become a kickstand when you fold them down). Lightweight (love the handle!) and it goes fast. Easy to charge. Fits in the back of my van no problem. Might have been better if it had the bicycle option as well (no pedal), but I cannot say I’m displeased in any way. I HIGHLY recommend this eBike!

Came kind of beat up. We looked past that and had fun riding it for just a day or two but the front tire keeps going flat. For a new bike we are disappointed because it was a birthday gift. I think the bike itself is really fun and works well otherwise.

This electric bike proved to be of disappointingly low quality. It was plagued with a series of issues that made it a frustrating purchase. I bought it in July as a gift for a family member, and within less than a month, the battery ceased to charge.
I ordered a replacement, which arrived on August 11. However, the problems persisted, as in less than two weeks, the tire unexpectedly burst with inner tire fragments scattered when simply pumping it. The inconvenience of returning it led my family member to attempt a workaround ā transferring the replacement bike’s battery into the original one.
Nevertheless, problems persisted. In less than six weeks, the back tire of the original bike also exploded while pumping it. This consistent string of issues has left us deeply dissatisfied with this purchase.
Adding to my frustrations, when I contacted Amazon’s customer service, I was informed that the purchase was fulfilled directly by Amazon, without involving any third-party sellers. When I inquired about obtaining the manufacturer’s contact information to explore the possibility of ordering replacement tires, I was astonished to be told that Amazon did not have access to the manufacturer’s phone number!!! This complete lack of quality screening by Amazon is both concerning and utterly unacceptable, revealing a critical flaw in their customer support and accountability processes.

I had high expectations when i purchased this bike, but sadly after only 2 1/2 “summers” the bike no longer works. It was significantly more expensive when purchased in 2018, making the ownership experience even worse. First the good: it is well built and lightweight. When it ran, it was fun to use, just don’t expect to break any speed records. It also had surprisingly good acceleration. The bad news: the bike is “very compact”, translating to small tires and low capacity battery. Because of the small tires you will likely need to extend the seat up fully. The problem arrises that now the bike’s center of gravity is above the tires. This makes the bike’s handling quite unsteady. Over the years a friend has “crashed” this bike 3 times because of this unsteady feeling. The small diameter tires also mean every pothole will feel like a crater. Ongoing nagging problems were: that tires would lose air and would need to be topped up every 2 weeks, and that the horn never worked from day 1. Also don’t expect to see the exaggerated speed and distance claims from the manufacturer. A 120 pound rider could get this bike to go about 12 mph max (18 Km/hr) for a distance of about 9 miles (14 km) and only when the bike was new. Given the small size of the bike and the relatively low power motor, maybe these number should be expected, However what wasn’t expected was the poor battery life. The first summer the battery worked fine. By the second summer the battery was weakening, so much so that by the end of the second summer the max distance capability was 50% of the original distance. Now into the third summer of use and the battery has completely failed after 2 months. A “replacement” battery from the USA will cost about $200, simply outrageous!. I use the word “replacement” loosely because Jetson use battery fittings that do not seem standard in electric bike batteries, meaning the original fittings will need to be cut off the old battery and soldered onto the replacement battery. I could not find a replacement battery directly from the Jetson site. Overall this purchase has been a bitter disappointment

So Iām giving it 5 stars because the bike itself when new it is amazing. That being said, I bought 2. Both said āused-like newā or āused-goodā. Donāt trust that!!! One of the bikes was so used it looked like trash. The reflectors were shattered, tires were worn out and the battery does not hold power. It is awful. We had to return it!
Now. The one that is perfect is a great bike. We use it when camping and it works great. It does have limitations when going uphill. It will come to a crawl and you may have to walk it or just expect to go very slow but otherwise it is fantastic. Iām sure this would be perfect for in town commutes to shopping or work. Keep in mind you would have to bring a backpack to carry your belongings if you do. The brake is weak and although it works, I donāt go too fast when i go downhill because this bike takes off fast!!!
Overall, for the price, it is awesome and Iām very happy with the one bike that works.

I hadnāt done any serious bike riding for about 50 years and a friend wanted me to get this bike so we could ride together around town. I wasnāt sure if Iād use it much and so spending a lot of money on a bike didnāt make much sense. I got this from Costco for something like $330. Bottom line: Iāve ridden it about 1,500 miles in 9 months, partially for fun and spending time with my friend. And partially because my hip has become problematic and Iāve been unable to walk for exercise and bike riding is much easier on it. It works, itās fun, it zips around town. Thatās the good news.
The bad news: itās not well balanced and you have to keep both hands on the handlebars or youāll take a spill. And more importantly, the battery has a short life. Iām about 190 pounds and when it was brand new the most I ever got out of it was 14 miles using just pedal assistance and almost no use of the throttle (other than to get going from a complete stop). After about 150 re-charges of the battery itās down to a 7 mile range, and itās dropping fast now. Itās not easy to replace and a professional has to do it, assuming spare batteries can be bought. The website has shown spare parts to be nonexistent for months. I understand the battery retails for something like $150 without labor for its installation. The rear tire also has become bald within my biking. The chain has stretched a lot and is in the ballpark of needing replacing I suspect. So probably $250 worth of repairs needed on a bike within 9 months of use and it only cost me $330 to buy a new one.
Bottom line: itās been a nice intro bike, and it served its purpose. But Iāve bought a different brand for a replacement. It cost $1250., but it has a battery reportedly good for 50 miles of riding per charge, and larger size tires (so not so fast to go bald).

OK, kids, this is my THIRD electric bicycle. My first was a Super Electrica which weighed a TON, all steel: 36V, 250W with SLA. I loved having it, but it was very, very slugglish.
My second is a modified Supercycle, 24″ wheels with a 500W, 48V mid motor and a 48v ‘dolphin’ 13aH battery. Goes like a bat out of h-e-double hockey sticks. I can carry it up and down the stairs. It’s still heavy, though and I equipped it with double panniers. It’s all decked out with flashing lights, a noisy horn and I wear a real DOT helmet. All street legal.
I’ve had my Bolt for a couple of weeks now, it runs great, light as a feather at 34 pounds. I’ve gotten lots of comments on this one, because it’s stylish and effective. It was delivered so quick! Lots of torque on the motor, so it manages to move my aging body around at half the speed of the Mid-motor. What I like about it, is that to go over to the local grocery store and pick up milk and bread, I can just grab my coat, my helmet and the bike. The only drawback is there is no basket, so I bring along my backpack to return home with my purchases.
The bike is simple, no pedals, good power and easy to handle. Of course, if you want GREAT power, a carrier for stuff you need and higher speed, get yourself a bigger bike.
It’s got a big brother, the Bolt Pro, if you *really* want to pedal, but I’m just fine with Elroy, my Jetson Bolt.

This ebike is awesome. some slight issues with some screws not fitting while putting the fenders on, and the bell is just about non existant. I just about didnt realize it was on there… That said its an amazing bike, it rides so smoothly and it has a great battery life, it takes so little to charge it as well. Thank you for showing me that there CAN still be life after a horrible foot injury. i can ride again š
