A great washer with updated features that I love! LG listens – I had the previous model and recently moved needing a new washer, I purchased this one and it is better than the other one – built in steam and a better front glass design. It was totally worth it!

Good product undermined by LG’s installation team.
The product itself probably deserves 5 stars. The installation team was appalling. The re-installation team was not much better.
The product was not leveled, and the team walked away with the leveling wrench supplied with the product. They tramped dirt in and didn’t clean up. Their hands dirtied the laundry walls and the product. They didn’t know how to install to one side or other of the available space. The second team worked this out. The incompetence of both delivery teams was not helped by their lack of English language skills.
That said, two weeks of operation have been incident-free and effective. I recommend the product, but be warned. You’ll probably have to supervise them closely when they install it!

It was time to update my LG washer and dryer after over 15 years of faithful service. They both worked fine but I was anxious to replace them before I had a problem.
With regard to the model WM4000HBA washer, it’s amazing what technology advances have taken place in 15 years!
The washer/dryer is WiFi enabled so that I can check the cycle progress on my phone and receive Alexa alerts once the cycle is finished. The dryer is paired to the washer so for example when the wash cycle for Towels is complete, the dryer automatically pre-selects the dry cycle for Towels.
There are more cycles to choose from than my previous washer and each is much more unique with this model. The cycles are generally shorter, using less water and power with the Turbo Wash functionality. This model also features steam functions.
It runs whisper quiet, smooth, and is solid as a rock. This machine is very quiet even on spin cycle.
The unit looks great in black steel but a minor complaint is that the door glass is tinted making it difficult to see the wash cycle. The LED panel is also bit hard to see so I need reading glasses and a flashlight if I want to choose any of the many available wash/dry options, but it doesn’t diminish my satisfaction with LG.

After the initial 2 weeks post delivery of my new LG washer and dryer, I am happy to say that I made a superior purchase decision. I recommend this LG washer and dryer set. The details below.
The Pros:
– Many choices for cycles, spin speed, temp, soil level, etc.
– Capacity is large, but the units handle small loads well, also.
– Runs whisper quiet, smooth, and solid as a rock (zero vibrations, though I haven’t done a very large load yet).
– Clothes came out clean and properly spun out (very little moisture retained).
– The load complete notification chime sounds like an ice cream truck. Silly? Yes, but I love hearing it! Haha.
The Cons:
– So many choices; maybe too many choices! And if you want to deviate from the preset defaults, you can, but it’s lots of tapping each individual setting on the LED screen. Time consuming! I wish there was a memory function where I could program my “normal” cycle settings and then recall it with 1-button press.
– The LED screen is very small font and not overly lit. If you’re older or sight impaired, be advised. I need my reading glasses and a flashlight to choose my combinations of the many options. Someday, I’ll have it memorized, hopefully.
– The units are big… measure your space accurately for fit (I did so all good). Be aware that if you’re shorter (I’m 5’1″), reaching over the units is a stretch!
All of that said, I give these units a thumbs up and would buy them again. The only outstanding question is maintenance and durability. LG has a good track record so I hope my units perform well for years to come.

I bought this set for my home in Florida. I love the efficiency of it and also the look of it. Very sleek with great capacity. Lots of options which is great because not all loads are the same.
