[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this washer a few weeks back I was kind of concerned about the reviews that I was reading, but overall the washer is really well. It does have a little loudness to it but completely bearable. The lid to the washer is little floppy, but it works well. I did see some concerns about the sense of how much water the washer would fill up, but it has worked really well for me and washes my clothes really well it does not have a alert for when the clothes is done so you just have to keep an eye on that, but I think it works really well, a lot better than the washer that I had before

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just got this machine and it won’t start for me. I push the start button and hold the hold to start button and all the lights flash, it clicks to lock, and then it clicks to unlock. I’m very unhappy with it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I went away from a machine with an agitator, but was disappointed in the look of the clothes. Never seemed as clean. This Maytag has confirmed agitators make a difference. The different cycles have all worked well, and the large deep fill makes washing bulky items a breeze

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought my Mother this washer a couple weeks ago. She absolutely loves it. She loves the big tub, how clean and fast the loads get done! She especially loves the spin out it does, very good!! I’m so happy I was fortunate enough at the time to get her this Maytag washer. She deserved and appreciated it very much! She now has clean clothes again!!

We wanted a machine that did the job with good basic features, was reliable, and was economical. Our Maytag hits all these points perfectly!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So much nicer than our GE. The inside is much larger and this agitator doesn’t damage our towels or clothing like the old one. It also puts in a more exact amount of water as needed and runs quieter.

There was some noise because the drain hose slaps against the back of the washer during the spin cycle. I took an old towel and wrapped the hose then secured it with a zip tie. The washer is nice and quiet throughout the entire wash cycle.

I am extremely disappointed with this purchase! I had a Maytag washer for over 40 years and loved it. When it stopped working, I wanted as close to what I had as possible and I purchased MVW4505MW. What a terrible mistake. The agitator literally ties my clothes in knots, the pause button doesn’t work properly, the wash cycle is too long and it is impossible to pause the machine in order to add softner.
