I did a decent amount of research and this ebike offered the most premium parts for the money.

This ebike checked all of those and it also has a custom look/feel to it. I like the built in screen which makes it look sleek complementing the well done blue paint. The ebike was easy to modify to add the extras you really want. I went ahead and changed out the brakes with the HB-100 line pulling hydraulic brakes, added a suspension bar for the a new seat, attached a bike lock to the frame, and new hand grips to accommodate the rear view mirrors.
The app by OKAI connects and allows you to change things with ease. You are able to adjust the led lighting and also able to adjust the top speed of the bike. I like the peace of mind as well being able to run a diagnosis of the entire bike through the app.
OKAI is a large name in Asia and has a positive reputation for quality products. If you were like me you were overwhelmed with ebikes from companies you could barely pronounce. It’s comforting to know I was able to get a good ebike for a fair price. On top of that and this is the big one……people are scared of these batteries catching fire in their garages. I had the same concern with my family and to know that OKAI is using top quality Samsung batteries eases that concern.

I’m not a hardcore biker, i just wanted something for commuting a few miles whenever i need to go somewhere. This bike is definitely worth the money, though my one complaint has to be the brakes, thus the 4/5 stars for this review and not 5/5. They are functional brakes, but not as good as i would like. i hadnt had a situation happen to me yet where i absolutely had to stop but if it does occur i might be in trouble unless i replace these brakes, because in order to come to a full stop from full speed(28mph) i need to know seconds in advance im about to stop. Other than that, the bike has been great, easy to maintain, easy to charge, durable, seems like it really does ignore any type of terrain, can be driven when it is raining or snowing even and months after is still as beautiful as the day i got it.

This has got to be one of the best looking ebikes on the market. Nice performance and power, long range, high quality parts, modern design, integrated screen in the frame, RGB light in the frame, smooth comfortable ride on nice fat tires. No complaints after riding for the last 3 months. App is easy to use and connect a phone to, only draw back is sometimes the phone does not connect unless you are really close, also wish the app could do more customizable things like track routes and calculate miles per ride.

I received my first bike and it had a few problems. The light worked intermittent. Worked when I assembled it then went to go on first ride and it didn’t work. Then worked the next day every time. The 3rd time it worked some time. Also had a rattle in the frame, ( sounded like a wiring harness inside) when I would turn the handlebars. Not a big deal! After a few rides I had a knocking sound coming from the cranks every time my right pedal was in the 12 o’clock position, and this got much worse in 2-3 rides. I was able to upgrade it to the 28 mph as advertised. Didn’t want to send it back but the noise was really bad. Something was really wrong inside, an it was under warranty. They(Amazon)sent me a new bike the next week, so I had to disassemble the first one to send back to Amazon. Not a big deal but a bit of my time. Assembled the new bike and the light works, no noise from the cranks, but still a small rattle inside the frame near the gooseneck/ handlebar mount. Still not a big deal to me. Tried to upgrade the speed to 28 like I had done on the first one and it wouldn’t upgrade. Spent a bit of time trying to figure it out with support from Okai. Finally received an Email stating that they removed the upgrade for liability reasons. I’m not happy with this bike now because the difference between 20 and 28 mph is a huge difference. I told them that they say on their website that it is upgradable to 28 and never got a response back. I think I’m going to send this one back also and switch to another brand that will do 28. Amazon customer support has been amazing help through all this and was trying to get this handled with me. I like the bike and it looks awesome but if Okai won’t fix this problem I’ll be sending this one back too. I’ve got about another week to return it . I bought the rear rack and basket which will be going back also. BAD BUSINESS in my opinion.

I’ve had this e-bike for about two weeks now. At first, I was hearing something coming from the frame. I took the handlebars apart. Had to hook up a loose cord. The bike sounds fine now. I like that I can turn the bike on three different ways. I like the speed the bike travels. The seat feels very comfortable. The price is amazing. I would recommend this bike to my family and friends.
