This is actually the second one of these we have ordered the first one we had to send back after trying to deal with the company was making a loud squeaking noise after one week we ordered a new one and when we hooked it up it was leaking all the time from the two hoses that do not disconnect this was a Christmas gift I told my daughter to return it and we would order a different kind I would not recommend this machine

Make great, quick ice…. HOWEVER after a few hours of use it starts up with an awful squeak/screeching noise that WILL NOT STOP! (unless off) I ordered a new machine and same thing…… so if you want to run it when you aren’t nearby it’s great….otherwise NOPE š

I had it all set up completely fine for the first 2 hours it was running fine everything was all good then it started squealing I tried draining it, adding more water, moved sides of the water container, lifting the hose and it wouldn’t stop at all. It made great ice for the first 2 hours.

So for starters, I read a lot of the reviews for this guy before I pulled the trigger. I did have an oily substance on the outside by the compressor, but once I got that cleaned off, it was good to go.
I’ve only had it plugged in for an hour and it’s filled up a good portion of the ice container. It’s sleek and it fits under the cabinets perfectly. I live in an apartment and counter space is sacred, but this guy doesn’t take up too much room.
Hopefully he will last a while, because I’m already in love ā¤ļø

The machine makes great ice and pretty quickly but it started making this awful whining sound the entire time it makes ice which is always. It almost never turns off. It’s unbearable which sucks because it makes the best ice I’ve had in a countertop nugget maker and I’ve tried a few.

I purchased this and received it last week. I set it up a week ago, tomorrow. It has been fantastic so far and I loved it. Today it started making this crazy noise and nothing I have done has fixed it. I have cleaned it, replaced water, gave it a rest, moved it’s location and still nothing. The instruction booklet is not giving any assistance and I am absolutely so bummed. I had forgotten to purchase the warrant but I sure expected it to last more than a week. So disappointed.

Heavy and durable. Purchased the charcoal and so far so good. Debated over black and charcoal. But the aesthetic to this was superb. Glad I picked charcoal.. it’s like a light cloud gray. Make sure to run a clean cycle prior to use. It took 2 hrs or so to fully have a a full bucket of ice. It is nugget size and just what I was looking for. I heard the GE profile opal was louder. I can’t really compare, but this one isn’t too loud. I don’t expect myself to stay in the kitchen to listen to the sound , so it doesn’t bother me at all. Got this for $198– what a steal! Don’t hesitate, buy it! Let’s just see how long it lasts š

I’ve been looking to get an ice maker for a long time. The opal one was a bit out of my price range! Set up was easy and I’ve been using it for about a month now. LOVE LOVE LOVE. Only con is it’s a little loud but I’ve gotten used to the sound so I hardly ever even hear it

I don’t like that it runs all the time , have to unplug it and empty out ice , water and clean it up to take a break with it even if it’s full of ice.
What I do like is it is easy to clean up and I love, yes love that it makes lots of ice quickly.
Yes I do recommend it for a good on sale purchase. It does make beeping noises so if you’re super sensitive to noises it’s not for you…

I’ve been looking for a nugget ice maker since they became popular on ticktok but I couldn’t justify spending 400-600$ for one. Then I found this one night scrolling on Walmart.com and I’m so happy I did. I purchased on Black Friday as a gift to myself and I’m absolutely in love. It works just like the more expensive kind and I love that I have the versatility of choosing to use the side water holder or using the machine without it. It’s extremely sleek and stylish without being bulky. As someone who loves circle K and sonic ice this is a true dream come true. I HIGHLY recommend this to anyone looking for an affordable alternative to gas station ice. 10/10 I HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
