Plenty of suction power. Easy to empty. Not expecting a long battery life but it has exceeded all of my needs so far. At first I was put out that it didn’t have any attachments until I realized that my vacuum cleaner attachments fit it perfectly — no need for duplicates. Favorite thing: Unlike most other hand vacs, the battery is replaceable when it wears out (For all the Black & Decker models, the life of the vacuum is determined by the life of the battery)

I had to replace my long time Dyson mini vac – I loved it but a couple of things bugged me, including the price,, so thought I’d read up on what’s around. Wirecutter recommend this Ryobi so I bought it and am very happy – it does a great job doing what it’s supposed to and the battery seems to last forever before needing a charge – and the price is a big plus too. highly recommend it

The Ryobi 18 cordless hand vac has superior suction compared to other cordless vacs I’ve owned in the past.
The batteries hold a charge quite well.
The only drawback is, it is a bit noisy when using it .

Worked as advertised. Removable, rechargeable battery is definite plus. Stronger than any handheld vac we have owned. Seems well made and durable. Used daily.

I wish I would of read peoples feedback before buying this. Brought for my husband for an Xmas present and only today went to use it and thought he would give it a charge. Plugged in, a loud bang and tripped the whole house. Dangerous kit and not suitable for the UK. Now hanging to fork out more money to get a placement. Peed off as I’m only 2 days passed being able to get a refund.

This is light enough you can hold it with one hand and quickly cleanup crumbs, dust, hair, or other particles from a smooth surface (like wood floor or tile). For particles clinging to a carpet, it doesn’t work as well. This has the quality I’ve come to expect from Ryobi, and the convenience of using the same batteries and chargers as certain other Ryobi tools I have. It has good suction power that I guess you would expect for the size of it and its intended purpose. Just don’t expect it do be anything close to a heavy duty shop vac. It’s kind of inconvenient to clean it out. You have to take it apart. Then most of the stuff falls out. But you have dig out some of it. I don’t really care about that too much, but I know some people would have a problem with it. I’d like to be able to attach accessories, like an extension tube or brush, but so far I haven’t found any online.
