[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this 4 years ago and is already broken. Very disappointed as the service to fix it costs more than the microwave did. On the positive side, it did work well for the original 4 years. Also sleek finish with the stainless black. A shame the life of the unit was so poor.

I bought this microwave year and half ago and handle comes off week ago. Here I am seeing same review about handle problem and Samsung thought we are wrestling with handles. Also, I have Samsung oven, switches are started loose and not safe anymore. No more Samsung appliances at all.

This microwave has been a nightmare. We bought our house 3 years ago and it came a year old with the house. It has shorted multiple times, the lights burn out almost every other month, and today we just had to buy a new one because it stopped heating (it was not in demo mode). Save your money and buy a different brand.

We bought all new Samsung appliances and when this microwave was barely a year old the door switch started acting up. You remove something from the unit and close the door and it randomly starts running on its own. If you close the kitchen door too hard it starts running. Sometimes it stops on its own, but we usually open the door to stop it before it does. Unfortunately I pulled my paperwork and it was just out of 1 year warranty. I wouldn’t buy it without getting the extended warranty. Otherwise it works, as in ”Other than that, how was the play, Mrs Lincoln?”

My last microwave was 12 years old and the only reason I replaced it was because I got a new stove and wanted it to match! Needless to say up until 2 days ago I was happy with my purchase; however this model microwave completely DIED just at the 2 year 4 month mark!!!! Is this the quality one can expect from Samsung? I shouldn’t have to buy a warranty for a microwave to last 6 years!! Very disappointed and will NOT be buying Samsung appliances again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Came out of the box dented on two sides. Still functions and can only see the damage slightly on the side when installed. Functional it works well with the exception of the popcorn button burns it if not pulled out with five seconds left. Also wish it had speed buttons.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the look and the display. The features are average. Of course, there are nicer models that have better and more usable options. One thing that did surprise me was the lack of certain “presets”. Our old (17 years old) microwave had Breakfast (which had several choices), etc.. Again, it will work fine.
The turn table is on the small side, which was surprising. The microwave we replaced was 1.6 cu ft, so I assumed it would be at least the same size. Not even close. The turn table is probably 2/3 the size of the old one.
The power is supposed to be the same, but it takes a lot longer than we are accustomed to. We routinely warm up certain things daily.. Where it would take 30-40 seconds before, it take a 60-90 seconds..
Still though, a nice looking microwave. Looks nice with the stove. I blame myself because I picked it due to size and power level. Well, and it was on sale. Haha.. But, there is obviously something more to a microwave, when it comes to how powerful they are. I thought it was the power rating, meaning the wattage.
If I good have a do over, I would go with the large capacity and higher wattage unit, but as the saying goes, it is what it is.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this thing it was more upscale than it is. The keypad is not illuminated. This makes it gard to see what the keys are or hard to find them to press even if you know where they are. The keys or icons are hard to press also. You must press them just right. The quick key is not quick. You must press the 30 Seconds key and then press start. The warning sound when something is done is not loud enough.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This microwave was puchased new and completely shut down after 2 1/2 weeks. The Keypad must have shorted out. Everytime we would reset it and press a button, the keypad completely shut off. Spend the extra money and buy another model
