Purchased this vacuum but was really disappointed. Suction is below average but what I most did not like how heavy it is. After 3 minutes of vacuuming it is hard to continue. So that is why I returned it.
U’s Reviews –
After years of using a No Name stick vac in our house it finally gave out. It taught us that 1. These are basically disposable as the batteries cost almost as much as the whole unit, and 2. We had no use for anything considered “high end.” We have had a couple shark products before and were always very happy with the quality and the reasonable price point it came at. It was a big factor in choosing this one.
UNBOXING: What you would expect from a small vac the box was about 2.5′ x1.5′ x 1.5′. There was a lot of cardboard inserts and dead space in there but overall was packaged in a way that would prevent most common shipping mishaps. It took all of about 6-7 minutes to unbox and assemble the vacuum in upright stick mode. Minimal plastic which was nice so we could recycle 95% or better of the packaging.
STORAGE: At first I thought this was going to be and issue. We are so used to hanging our old vac off the ground, and this doesn’t come with any wall mounting system. To my pleasant surprise it has a small rubber “bumper” on the bottom side of the vac handle. When upright and placed against a wall this little strip does a GREAT job of making sure it doesn’t slide down the wall and across the pantry floor. Little things like this impress me.
USE/FUNCTIONALITY: This is advertised as a pet vac and we have 1 very hairy cat. Hair control was a factor for us. Luckily on our main floor where this is primarily used we have hardwood flooring so the suction needed is less than a carpeted area. THere are 2 full time modes that both engage the brush. For simplicity we will call the High and Low however they only effect the speed of the brush and not the actual vacuum pull power. In low speed it is recommended for tile and hardwood flooring the brush is activated but at a very low speed suitable to sweep up crumbs without blasting them backward across your feet. It handled the dinner mess our 3 kids leave very well, and did a great job collecting the fur balls in the corners. High speed engages the brush at a much faster speed for carpeting. I did a few area just to test it out and it worked well. I think for surface and superficial cleaning it would work great but lacks the weight and power of a full size plug in vac for deeper cleaning. I did use the carpet mode on the couch and some chairs that the cat frequents and was very impressed with the ability to remove the bedded down cat hair. The vacuum can also be used as a handheld. It comes with a narrow long attachment for use between cushions and tight spaces, as well as a smaller brush assembly for couches, seat cushions, and stairs(although i use the stick mode). This is a handy feature and will be used a lot my my wife and I in our cars.
VACUUM POWER: When i first turned it on i was underwhelmed. I felt like it was limited to preserve battery, and maybe it is. But the pull is fine for my use on hardwood. It never left anything on the floor that I expected it to pull up. There is a trigger that you can pull using your index finger that will boost the vac into “full power.” This allows you to choose when to use the extra pull only when needed. I found myself wishing there was a way to turn this on full time, but it appears that you need to be actively pulling this whenever you want it at that speed.
BATTERY LIFE: I charged this for 24 hours prior to use, not sure if it was needed or not, but we didn’t need to use it yet so it charged. I used it for about15 minutes with varied use in High/Low, and FULL POWER modes. Even went and did a little more than what we would normally use it for and when i was done it read 2/3 bars left. When I plugged it in it flashed between 1 and 2 bars, so i assume I used about half of the battery life in the 15 minutes and since they claim up to 40 in low power mode I would believe this claim to be true.
OVERALL THOUGHTS: This is exactly what we needed and I would foresee getting a few years or more life out of this vacuum. Versatile enough to be used on hard flooring, carpet, and automobiles or more. It comes at a very reasonable price point considering the quality and the brand reputation. I would think that for pet owners with hard flooring this would work great for most pet situations. The functionality is as promised and I like the weight and feel of it overall. I’m very happy with this purchase.

This vacuum was my one and only prime day splurge last year and I have not regretted it even once. I researched different stick vacs and decided this model seemed like the best value for what I needed (vs. dyson and other brands).
Overall summary: extremely easy to use, charge, and clean the vacuum itself. Very effective and functional, would absolutely buy again even if it died tomorrow after only one year of owning but it seems to be working about 98% as well as it was right out of the box. I specifically waited a year to write this because many reviews I read when comparing cordless vacuums prior to purchase mentioned problems after about 6 months of use. I’ve had none.
The rest of the review is long but I know if I would have appreciated reading this input when shopping around.
Battery life: I timed the use when I first got it and ran it for ~40 minutes switching between hard floor and carpet settings and it did not run out. I think it’s only died on me once or twice in the entire time I’ve had it, and that’s when I was vacuuming the entire ~3000 sq ft house in one go. Since I usually stick to just upstairs or just downstairs at a time, battery isn’t an issue for me even on the high power setting.
Suction/dust cup capacity: the suction is only ever affected when the dust collector cup is seriously full, and since we had two cats and one dog and were catching up on a long time of neglecting vacuuming, this was pretty often at first. Since then we’ve gotten through one or two full battery charges worth of cleaning without having to empty, which means the suction has been great. We use crystal cat litter that sometimes gets statically stuck to our cat’s fur and he will shake it off on the carpeted floor. This vacuum has been great at getting the litter (and fur of course) out of the carpet. Not to mention actually emptying the dust cup is super easy too.
Hand vac/crevice tool: switching attachments is also very easy. I had a super cheap hand vac I used to use for crevices and cleaning my car, but no more. This is great for getting in between couch cushions, car seats, cup holders, floorboards, etc.
Brush roll: I have long hair and I shed a lot more than the average person. One of the biggest deciding factors between brands for me was the ability to get my hair out of the brush roll and I definitely made the right choice on this one. Even when my hair is clogging the brush roll, it has never once actually stopped it from rolling and has barely changed the effectiveness at all. When I do clean it out – it’s SO easy thanks to the grooves on the roll and the bristle design. Even on other vacuums that are supposedly designed to easily clean the brush roll, it has never been this easy before.
Down side: The only suggestion for improvement I have is that the tiny wheels on the front of the vacuum head were tangled with fur/dust/hair after the second or third use. Unlike the brush roll, it seems impossible to fix this. On the other hand, even though I’m not sure those wheels even roll anymore, it hasn’t actually seemed to have any effect on the vacuum’s functionality which is why I’m still giving five stars.
If you are on the fence about getting a stick vac in general:
I cannot recommend it enough and it is absolutely worth making the switch. My partner and I both have depression and ADHD which makes it very hard for us to find the motivation to clean. Since getting this vacuum I am not kidding, I have vacuumed more in the past year than I have the rest of my adult life (I’m 32! Yes, this is embarrassing!). We keep this near the kitchen within easy reach and eye sight, and it’s small enough not to be in the way. We also have carpeted stairs which were the worst to have to deal with – both mentally and literally – and now I vacuum them regularly just because it’s so easy. We have had multiple full size/traditional “pet” specific vacuums before and this specific model has equal or better suction power and is so much more convenient than all of them. And it fits under the couch!

Hace su trabajo sin sorprenderme. Comparando con dyson considero que le falta calidad. Pero cumple con su funciĆ³n.

Pros:
– Poweful/ get at picking up dirt and dust
– simple enough design/ easy to figure out how to use
I just got this the other day and tested it out. It’s very powerful and picks up dirt, crumbs and dust very well. My previous stick vacuum had that problem of spitting out the crumbs once you turn it off. So I’m happy that this thing is so strong.
Cons:
– Heavy and clunky to maneuver.
My previous stick vacuum was much lighter but again it was not very good and the suction was terrible. This one is so strong it feels like if you let it go it will just run off – you can feel it pull you. Perhaps I’m just not use to a decent stick vacuum since my previous was so bad.
I’m not able to vacuum over more free standing rugs like bathroom rugs with out it getting stuck in the vacuum. However it goes over my living room rug very well.
I also wish it would stand up on its own. It clicks in position as if it could stand up on its own when storing it but the top is too heavy so it falls down.
And because it’s a bit heavy and the suction is so strong it does make it hard to maneuver.
Overall, I think I’ll keep it as it’s better than my old vacuum and does pick up dust/dirt very well. Hair does get stuck in the bristles like most vacuums so you still have to monitor and clean that out.

This was my best purchase ever!! The attachments are easy to attach and take off. The suction power is amazing. We have a dog and it gets so much hair out of the carpet. It is small and can easy vacuum under beds and dressers. Lightweight and cordless is so easy to use.
