My partner and I recently moved and have a smaller fridge and no automatic ice maker/dispenser! I went into crisis mode because I am an ICE LOVING GAL. We read some reviews and decided on this ice maker. We took advice from other reviewers and bought some reusable plastic bags so we can store ice in the freezer and break it up on the counter, in the bag, for bevs. Downsides, the basket gets full pretty quick and if youāre not there to empty it, itāll just melt back into the reservoir, so you have to pay attention and sort of plan it out. We usually make ice in the evening while making dinner and watching our shows. Itās not bad at all. I also feel like it takes up a decent amount of room on our countertop, but worth it at the end of the day to have ice!

My Ice machine is called Anne with an E. I use this machine at least twice a week for over 1 year. I am sorry that other people had issues but not this happy customer. The only suggestion I for the upkeep, it is not easy to clean, if you are not using it on a regular basis, drain the water and make sure it is dry but putting good quality paper towel (1sheet) on the top and one on the bottom, you can remove once that is completely dry or leave it until next use it. If I do have to clean it, I take it to the sink and use the spray feature. I it heavy for me so I am not carrying anywhere with me, This don’t feel like it is portable. The ice is amazing and after the first round, it rainth buckets of ice š§ my ice be over flowth.

When I bought this ice maker in 2022, I remember people saying that it breaks easily. Twenty four months later, I can say that mine works as well as the day I unboxed it. I couldn’t be happier with this thing, especially at this small size and good price.
I only use water from my Zero Water pitcher in it. I do this to prevent build-up anywhere in the system. This works well for me. Every time the basket fills, I transfer the ice to a bucket in my freezer. Once the ice maker runs out of water, I drain it, and keep it open to dry. It is clean and always runs perfectly! As a tip for getting bigger ice, I recommend cooling the water by leaving the basket out for two cycles. If this thing ever breaks or has problems, I’ll update this review.

To be transparent, I am impressed.. for the price, I wasnāt expecting much. The box and packaging was great – neat packaging, clear instructions, etc.. when I unboxed, I was shocked by the quality – itās heavy (good thing as weight reflects quality), clean, and has no obvious manufacturing defects or flaws. When we began use, I couldnāt believe how quickly it begins cranking out ice. My only complaints are around the constant running – it doesnāt hold the cold air in the machine, so the ice melts and replaced with fresh ice. Basically a constant rotation of ice, so I hope itās energy efficient since it runs all the time. However, given the price, and how quickly it generates ice cubes, you canāt be mad. Weāve only had the machine a couple of days, but so good so far.. my kids love grabbing a cup of ice cubes whenever. In the future we will upgrade to a ice maker that has direct connection to water supply, creates ice nuggets rather than small cubes, and has a higher capacity but this one will do the job well in the meantime. This machine is more worth the price. It makes ice in under nine minutes, quite a bit of ice. it has a holder bucket on the inside that holds the ice after itās made. It looks nice sitting on the counter. Itās easy to move so itās portable. One thing thatās a bit of a pain is the cleaning. It didnāt come with clear instructions on how to do that I had to look it up on YouTube, so for this particular model, you want to hold the power button down for about 16 to 20 seconds you will see the buttons thatās say small or large flash between each other. Then you can let go. It will go into cleaning mode. Thereās a small rubber piece at the bottom of your icemaker that will drain your water. Make sure you drain it and wipe it down with a paper towel.

Easy set up. Easy to use. I want ice made from distilled water. Fill to water line and out comes big ice or little ice. It is quick and easy to use. It keeps making ice until the basket fills then stops. Remove the ice basket empty or store ice. Return the basket and it starts making ice again just like magic. What a great contraption. Oh, so useful and cool! Go for it. Highly recommended.
