I love my new e-trike. SixThreeZero knows how to pack it too…it took me a good 45 minutes to unwrap and cut off all the zip ties! Everything was there and in perfect condition and they even included a bag of extra nuts and screws. The bike is high quality and a beautiful color. I bought the satchel for the front too. I’ve only riden it a few times and I’ve received numerous compliments. Everyone in my RV resort is jealous! If you’re not buying this because of the price, think of it as a lifetime investment..the best one I’ve made. I haven’t put in the battery yet because I want to get used to riding a three-wheeler first but I’m looking forward to zipping around town. I also ordered the next size up seat for better comfort. I am so excited for the days and months of adventure with ‘lil butternut (I named it already). :o)

I bought a SixThreeZero EveryJourney Electric trike a year ago. I was tired of starting my vehicle up just to get to the market, and due to some balance issues thought an electric trike might give me back the freedom of cycling safely. It was a good idea at the time. I immediately had trouble getting onto it because the standover was so high, but I figured out how to overcome that fairly quickly. I hadnāt realized that the trike has a really different center of balance; it felt really tippy and my balance issues were aggravated because of it, but I decided I could get past them with practice. So I began doing that, and was feeling more comfortable when I discovered there were some blind spots in traffic. I checked into purchasing some mirrors from the company but discovered there werenāt any, so I purchased some generic handlebar mirrors from a local sports equipment retailer. After a couple of weeks of practice I thought I was ready to ride it to a local summer festival where we were selling doughboys as a fundraiser for a charity. I was about halfway there when the handlebar mirrors slipped and I could no longer see to my side and rear. As I tried to adjust the mirrors I went a little sideways and suddenly went over the handlebars crashing the trike and severely injuring my head. I was lifeflighted to the nearest trauma center with a brain bleed that required emergency surgery and 2 weeks in the ICU followed by more than 2 months at a rehab where I had to learn to walk, talk, write my own name and relearn everything else again. Iām home now and doing well, but it may be another 6 months or so before I get everything back and can really resume my life again.
Iām happy to report that the trike came through without even a scratch! Canāt say as much for the helmet or my body and brain.
Potential riders of electric trikes should be counseled about the potential hazards of that ādifferentā center of balance, and the helmet could be improved to provide more protection. Iām hoping to sell the trike this summer to recoup a little of my purchase expenses. My medical expenses were completely paid, and know Iām lucky to still be here and looking forward to the rest of my happy life again. I donāt think Iāll be getting back on another electric trike again, but I donāt blame SixThreeZero for anything except perhaps not enough instruction on learning to handle that different center of balance. That trike came through the crash without even a scratch! SixThreeZero builds quality bikes that can survive even a crash test dummy!
