[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this a week ago. I have to give it 5 stars. It’s perfect for our needs and the price was in our range. I do have 1 issue though, when the door is opened, the fridge rolls towards you. Are there stoppers on the bottom to keep it from doing this?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a Whirlpool side by side similar to this in bisque that I had for 31 years. It really did its job! I am limited to a size that will fit in my area. I also wanted ice/water on the door like I had with my previous unit. The inside setup is similar to my previous unit with just a few minor changes. I am getting used to it. I also am glad I have a frig with the built in water filter feature.

It is pretty much everything we thought it would be but there are a couple design changes I would make. First, our old unit had an orange peel finish which we prefer to the smooth finish. The smooth finish tends to show fingerprints and smudges. Second, we would prefer the dial type temperature controls. The button style basically gives preset choices and we have found that one setting is a little too warm and the next setting gets a little too cold. That’s about it.

We purchased this refrigerator approximately 4 years ago. We’ve had nothing but trouble with it! It worked fine for about 6 months before the trouble began. First the cheap hose for the water and ice started to leak causing water to damage the wall behind the fridge and leaking into the basement ruining items stored. second,the fridge freezes anything stored on the top shelf. Bins are made of junk causing them to crack and the bin for the ice in the freezer is absolute junk!

DO NOT BUT WHIRLPOOL!! We bought this type of Whirlpool fridge. Within about 1-2 years the ice/water broke, and within about 6-7 it stopped working completely! Unfortunately, we didn’t realize what poor quality Whirlpool appliances are made with and the lack of integrity. We also purchased one of the dishwashers, within 1-2 years a part on the door that provides the deceleration when the door opens, completely broke. Do NOT buy Whirlpool!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The design of this refrigerator is terrible. The freezer has no storage space. There is no drip pan under the dispenser so the water drips onto the floor. The shelves in the refrigerator side are flimsy. The location of the water filter does not take in consideration that older people cannot get down on the floor to change it. I will be getting another refrigerator as soon as possible and it won’t be a Whirlpool.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s a great refrigerator. The only thing we wished it had was more lighting in the refrigerator section. It has one light in the upper righ corner and an additional one toward the bottom. It would benefit from an additional light in the middle.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the frig a couple of weeks ago. I was not aware that it would run 75% of the time. I hope my electric bill doesn’t go sky high. The door also swings open really fast. I didn’t put much in the door but still swings open anyway. I’m extremely disappointed with this frig.
